When did you order? I think i got my VIN on 4/6 so my wait is going to take a while.

Placed my order on March 5th, but it actually got processed on March 7th. Got my VON on the 7th, VIN on the 9th.
Bunch of hooey from Jeep Chat since then. Enough so that I don’t see the need to be bothered by their lack of concern.

Damn that sucks. I figure i wont even check in with them for like 3 more weeks so as not to disappoint myself. Time to start buying ish... Your gobi mojave is going to be badass by the way!

I suspect when they start producing Gobis they're going to run through all their orders up until then- that's to say I don't think my order on the 8th of March will be completed much more than a couple days before one ordered a month later. Barring any build-specific back ordered components, of course.

The real big time variable once they start production is transport to wherever you ordered it.

Gupton for instance, seems like they'll have enough orders for a truck full of gobis alone.

RE-ORDERED my DIESEL Gladdy on the 7th... they didn't submit the dang order until yesterday... I cancelled my first order which was supposed to be here on Thursday, but that one is the Granite color... it was my secondary choice, when the GOBI became available, I HAD TO REORDER my GLADIATOR! there is no way that I will seat in the granite one and every time a GOBI drove by I would be sad and regretful! so the dealership worked with me which was awesome of them. Anyways, I'm excited to get mine, I ordered the OVERLAND DIESEL version... also, did anyone order an OVERLAND in the DIESEL that the TRACLOK REAR DIFF Option came with it? like it says ZERO on mine to add it, but when the dealer processed it they said it would cost like 600 something more. Anyways, anyone else have had this issue?

Anti-Spin is standard with the diesel. Not really surprised the dealer wouldn't know that.

So, I ordered Mojave with the idea of some dirt trails and maybe some dunes if I make my way to them, but i don’t plan on doing technical rock crawling trails; so I didn’t order the forward trail Cam. I figured I would just put that money to some type of hidden motorcycle type of front rear (dash) cam as I figured a negligent driver hitting my rig was the greater risk. However, with this lengthy schedule process, I can’t help but wonder if I should add the dash cam for the minimal trails if I still can. Your thoughts on If unnecessary or necessary?

Doubt you can add it if you've already ordered, but I use that trailcam all the time. It's just too convenient when parking sometimes. Very happy I checked that box. Also, very unpopular opinion, I love the auto cruise control. You get both standard and auto cruise when you order it, so you still get to choose which you use in certain situations.

I would do the camera from factory and be done with it, you won't regret it and aftermarket headache isn't worth it.

One of my local stealerships (that I didn’t order from) just left me a VM trying to get me to order from him. In the voicemail he said Gobi Gladiators are starting production on May 9. Not sure how accurate it is, but just another rumor to speculate on.

Opted out of the LEDs this time. Might regret it, but didn't want to pay the extra for it. Regular headlights work, and can take LED bulbs.

Fox lift and tires/wheels will go on before delivery. Debating letting the dealer go ahead and to a front bumper and winch, and possibly spacer on front for the extra weight.

just now seeing this thread but I ordered mine on 3/5/22
Gobi Sport S, max tow, aux switch, cold weather, 3 piece hard top, color matching fenders, limited slip rear axle, and trail rail system.
Already have the Rock sliders, and aftermarket front grill with a light bar integrated in the grill for when it gets delivered. Already have Jurassic park logo stickers to go on the doors and will be turning this into to the modern version of the Jurassic park jeep.
