I have several hail dents in my hood. I'm sure they can all be removed via PDR. I think they have been there over a year now.

Otherwise I may buy a Mojave hood and cowl later and put that on.

Not sure. Need truck, truck goes through things sometimes, it gets washed a few times a year and I stay up on maintenance. Otherwise, it's a tool. Not to say I abuse it - but I can only worry about so much lol.

Wait until you go on a narrow trail through some brush and you come out the other side looking like Freddy Krueger keyed your rig.
Yes, this right here! I was lucky enough to get all that out of my system within the first spring of buying it. I looked at the pin striping for 3 years until the paint corrosion took hold and when fixed, I was looking at brand new doors again 🤩

Dents are cool if you overcome a challenge and it ended up being a good experience. The dent is the forever lasting memory of the event.

I was near Coldfoot AK when an owl flew into my grille. It was a big hit that busted the plastic to pieces and dented the condenser and the radiator. I was very lucky there were no leaks. I bought a new grille, but never put it on. I was getting used to talking about this trip when asked about the grille.

On the other hand, when you FAFO, you may not want to share a story that makes you look like a dumbass. I'm not worried about those type dents either. I'm not wrapped that tight to care.

I must have OCD or something. I have never been able to accept a dented vehicle.
I'm the same way. I've got a great dent guy, and any time I get a dent I have him stop by and remove it immediately.

The funny thing is, I hate dents, but I'm OK with everything else. My 2014 JK Rubicon is my wheeling vehicle. Every wheel, both bumpers, rock rails, skid plates, fender flares ... they are all scraped & gouged. The paint is covered in trail pinstripes. But any time I get a little dent, I immediately have my PDR guy fix it.

I bought a Jeep to do Jeep shit. Jeep shit involves scratching, denting, scraping, breaking, and smashing. If someone looked at my truck in the parking lot and called it clean or pavement princess. I would be low key insulted. Mine looks good from 40 ft. after that i bask in the comments and snide remarks of being called an idiot for tearing up a "perfectly good truck". If rubbin is racing, then scraping is wheelin! No tire spared, no panel unscathed, no skid undented. Fuggin Send It!!!!!!!:rock::rock::rock::rock::rock::rock:
Exactly!

I too am fine with scratches. I just did a trail last Wednesday night that was like going through a carwash made of chainmail. Dents however I would probably have fixed. While pinstriping is unavoidable where I live, I don't want my truck looking like some beater on a meth-heads front lawn.

hahaha🤣. That would require multi colored body panels to be meth qualified.

Hell, I haven't washed my Harley in 3 years. It sees more miles than anything we own. Tools are to use, not look at.
See you on the curb-side

its like my bum knee or, anytime im fatigued, I get a kink in my neck. I could probably throw an absurd amount of money into “fixing” them but I just live with it.

My last two jeeps had a lot of trail damage from driving in wooded areas. But my Gladiator still looks brand new. Part of it is, I dont go offroad as much anymore. But the bigger part is, there’s just not a lot to damage when driving out in the desert. If I did get a dent that bothered me, I would just call my PDR guy to work his magic.

This thing is way too nice to smash up. I guess that's the problem I'm having.
If I didn't take it off road I would have same issue. Nothing wrong with that.

But if you're seeing other jeeps that are scratched and/or dented its usually just some trail love. I will touch it up in fall and again in spring. Unless major gouge or something like a major dent it's a live with it type thing. Then again now that it has the jeep paint cancer going on that bothers more then any trail love it ever got. Well that and the fading plastic.

I don't favor these owners who say, "WTF, it's a Jeep". Every vehicle collects its badges of honor, but the first one is the worst one. My Jeep isn't a trailer queen but I like my ride to look good, too.

Maybe try one of this "Ding King" suction cups. I've had some success with those pulling small dents and depressions.

I ran over a tree limb and some other debris on the road that the county tractor left behind, and as I traveled over it the limb lifted off the ground and twisted and hammered against the side of my Jeep. It left 3 small dents in the passenger side front quarter panel, broke the antennae plastic surround, and left a large scrape in the passenger door. It was so loud I pulled over.

Man, I was not happy to find that. I must have OCD or something. I have never been able to accept a dented vehicle. This was two days ago and I'm still bummed. I called the county to see if they'll cover it. If not, I don't think I'll even put in for an insurance claim because they'll turn right around and jack me to take all their money right back.
If you off road it we call those trail scar's or rock rash or custom by crunch!! I think nobody like them we just get used to them gives us something to talk about on the trail
