Does anyone's mirrors shimming at highway speed? Mine does and it's annoying as heck.

Someone need to makes some mirror base spacers, like an inch would be great. I might just make some out of 1" thick aluminum.

I would like to see the side mirrors with a memory so you could store a couple different adjustments. I use 2 adjustments depending on what I'm doing. (1) Normal adjustment I see just a little bit of the rear quarter panel. Good for most things. (2) The other adjustment is strictly my highway setting. I look at the middle rear view mirror and adjust the side mirrors outward to just overlap the outer edges of the middle mirror view. I get a wider panoramic view and helps greatly with blind spots. Would be nice if I could save mirror settings.

Mine previous 2004 Acura TL has that feature. It also tilt down a little in reverse too.

Why not look into the euro convex version mirrors? They are readily available from the Mopar part sites online. You can just replace the glass or be cool like me and replace the whole housing with integrated turn signal. ;)

Either way, they are factory fit finish, heaters work, plug-n-play except the turn signal. Simple to tie them in too. BSM, I have no idea, supposed to work, I can drive without mom helping me.

For factory parts, either path is quite inexpensive.

Below are the part numbers w/o Arabic writing:

I purchased the Euro mirrors about six months ago and really appreciate seeing vehicles in objects outside of what the stock US mirrors shown, both on and offroad. I always plan lane changes early, but I appreciate that I can clearly see a complete lane over on the highway.

After a mountain bike crash that gave me a stiff neck, I started using my backup cam. I edited the home screen to put the camera access as the 2nd button on the bottom of the screen. Not perfect, but helped when I had a stiff neck and have gotten into the habit of using this process if I'm ever in doubt of traffic around me.

Heck these are the biggest mirrors I have had in years. With all three adjusted correctly I've never had any difficulty seeing anything. My two side mirrors are turned out so far you can't see the sides of the Jeep unless you tilt your head slightly one way or another. Center mirror covers everything behind me. No issues.

My buddy pulls a trailer with his JT every day, so he added small stick on convex mirrors in the bottom corners so he could watch the trailer in turns a little better. That's about it.

I've learned to live with the side view mirrors, with a small blind spot mirror added to each. But I really despise the rearview mirror. It hangs down low enough that for me, it affects looking over to the right. I spun the mirror around (turned it upside down basically) and it gave a tiny bit more. I wish it had a glass mount style that could be angled different.

My trip home from the dealership I almost wiped out a small black car in my blind spot.I hate these mirrors too. I may have to mod something with more mirror. Freight liners have a very flat base as well as power and heat and can fold flat. May have to do some measuring…

Seems like the engineers at both Jeep and RAM don't actually use their mirrors. The HD Rams forum is full of folks that hate their tow mirrors. (I'm one of 'em)

I'm in the same category. I've never had a problem, and actually really enjoy these mirrors over my other Jeep lol.

My last few vehicles before my JT had it, and it's the one option I wish I had on the gladiator more than any other. Since it's just in the taillights, I wonder if I can add it? Haven't looked too hard yet. Maybe just new taillights and mirrors, and jscan?
It should be relatively easy. The tail lights, while expensive, include the sensors. You’d then need the side mirrors with the indicators. After that it should just be a tazer or jscan toggle-on setting.
