These motors were pulled for HEMI conversions. We have sold hundreds of engines with no issues and now are doing the HEMI conversions for the JL & JT and getting these motors in close to new and perfect working condition.

We recommend these be installed by trained and certified technicians.

Crate engines include the following:
  • Complete Long Block
  • Wiring Harness (Except the Battery Cables)
  • Motor Mounts
  • Front Accessory Drive Pulleys & Brackets
  • Water Pump, Alternator, Throttle Body
  • Engine Oil Dipstick and Tube
  • Does Not Include Computer (ECM)
****Free Shipping to Commercial Addresses Only**** A fork lift or loading dock is required to avoid a lift gate fee after delivery.

The PCM stays with the vehicle it came out of for VIN reasons. These are from Left Hand Drive vehicles. As is Sale.

All Engine Sales are Final and Engines are in perfect working condition when sold. We recommend installing the engine into the same model/year range that the engine came out of

and this is my lemon gladiator...I bought it three years ago, I WOULD NOT BUY IT AGAIN TODAY, two years walking from dealer to dealer and spending money and they never solved anything for me. This is my latest diagnosis...has anyone had something similar happen to them? totally lost

Yes that’s how I felt when my ford broke an axle going down the highway and Ford said no warranty because of oversized tires even though I bought it new that wa, or when my Porsche engine blew due to a faulty design and the factory refused to take blame for the hundreds of failures. Just roll the dice and hope it’s not snake eyes

I am not sure any vehicle is reliable anymore. I am ready to start leasing vehicles for 24 months instead of buying since I trade that often anyway

I hope you can find a cheaper fix and hope it gets fixed correctly

Those quoted labors rates are pure insane!

And there parts cost are simply rape fees. $8000+ for a used motor with that mileage is fucking dumb

A R&R for the engine with a competent tech is maybe 10-12 hours labor @ $150 a hr...you do the math

Check valve lash for bent valve.
????
How are you going to bend a valve on these unless the piston hits a valve. If that happens, you have big troubles. There's no lash to these, lash adjusters and followers.

For such a high dollar repair, I’d take it to another shop for a second opinion

Sometime piston and rings can still be good after lightly hits the valve, depending on compression ratio of course.

Thank you all for the help, the reality is that I always did the oil changes and I bought the Jeep because it was my dream. I will seem ridiculous but I do feel bad.And yes I bought all the guarantees but the dealership changed owners. I don't answer many things because I'm a woman and the truth is I'm sorry for the women who know a lot about mechanics, I don't understand anything
what kind of 'guarantees' did you buy? did you get the Jeep extended care warranty? Or was it a dealership specific thing? if it was a factory warranty then it would be well worth fighting. If it was a dealership specific thing, then irregardless of the new owners I would be consulting with a lawyer since there was signed paperwork and often times companies, with ownership changes, take on liabilities of past 'guarantees'. Most people just dont try to fight it, which is why we are in this place of garbage service because nobody is being held accountable. I would do anything and everything possible to force them to be accountable in that situation especially if there was signed paperwork. Unless it was a 'handshake' deal.

100% True there is no Jeep Engine Techs that have any clue on what they are doing. That is from experience with dealing with multiple shops. I believe all dealerships and Jeep Shops are good for is oil changes and lift/tires.
