We need a corn fed edition with a dana 60 rear axle and a 2000 pound payload capacity.
I was wondering about that. How do you determine the GVWR with the Dana 60/80 axles? I couldnt find it posted on Spicer’s website

No problem. It would, indeed, have been funny if FCA actually wrote that, in the Mojave, "you can feel loose and relaxed with all of the expertly-engineered additional steering play as you play in the sand and wobble over even the most-extreme dunes."
So Rubicon (and all trim levels) can thank Mojave for the loose steering box!

Yes!!! I mean No!!! I was making a joke. Read the thread. It was humor based on language I pretended to make up on what FCA had said. Read.

Click on the up-arrows until you get to my original post, and you will get it. You won't get it otherwise.

LOL! Yes I knew it was a joke. .. I saw your original post and said whoa whoa whoa... I didn’t see loose steering in that post! So I scrolled back to check. But with the follow on posts I just wanted to play off that with the comment on Rubicon axle upgrades benefiting from the Mojave. It’s just a reminder that just because it was posted on the internet it doesn’t make it true!

First off let me say that each person’s needs are different so there is no one correct answer.

I have been on expeditions where we were out in the boonies, deserts etc. for weeks at a time. For me personally I wanted the locking front axle and sway bar disconnect so I got the Rubicon and am still happy with the decision. I see the Mojave as a vehicle for day runners or maybe weekend runs...once again which is fine, but for me the further out one goes the better one’s truck needs to be with self recovery and the Rubicon fits the bill for me.

I AGREE WITH SMLOBX - - "We all have different needs" or maybe wants depending on intended usage! I am pleased to see the MOJAVE introduced for a unique segment of the market. For myself the RUBICON gave me what I wanted the front lockers and with a TAZER it gives me everything I wanted. The second important feature for me was ground clearance. With 3/4" to 1 1/2" boosters and a little larger tire I can improve that too.

As we all know the JEEP is the most modified or accessorized vehicle on the market so pick the features you want and add them to your rig!

IT'S A JEEP THING

I really REALLY hope the diesel becomes an option when this is released. If so I know what I’m buying.
1” higher in the front means 37s work with chopped flares and no lift.

I won’t need to tamper with anything including wheels

PLEASE JEEP HEAR MY CRY

Me and the wife just got back from the first day of the Philly Auto Show and Jeep has a Mojave Gladiator on display. It really is subtle but somewhat noticeable the slightly elevated suspension. The orange accents on the interior and exterior also look nice.

While I would not rush out to trade my Gladiator Rubicon in on one, I would definitely consider it if I was first time shopping for a Gladiator right now.

I'm curious to see if the Mojave can still ford 30" of water or if the sand and dust protection reduces it.

This Gladiator thing just keeps getting better. The Mojave could be the correct model for me, can’t wait till it shows up at the dealership and take one out for a spin.

I also saw the Mojave at the Philly Auto show. I don't have much to add other than pictures. Those wondering about payload are gonna have to keep wondering....
