Just wondering about the Mojave model, for me it looks like a better fit for my use over the Rubicon. I'm not a rock crawler so 95% of my driving will be pavement and not much off roading. The Mojave has a good look to it and I can get it with just about everything I want stock from the factory build. I had the Willys before and really like it, but the Mojave just has a better look and sets taller for my liking, do note here, I do not lift my vehicles, so factory stock is where mine will stay. I'm an older guy and will only drive 5-7 thousand miles per year, actually it's more of a toy and not needed for everyday use.

If you wanted to lift aev makes a Mojave specific lift which keeps the entire suspension current. I’d say they are popular but I generally don’t see a whole lot of gladiators around me let alone Mojave’s. I think this is based off of them not being out as long as wranglers. 4 door white jkus are king around me

Are you wondering how many people own one? Or how many people want one? Or how many Google hits one can find with Mojave?

Just took a 1200 mile road trip through Florida .. 1-95 & 1-10 saw about 8-10 Mojaves, A few Sports/Willys and the same amount for the Rubicon model, oddly enough not one Overland trim ... I think the Mojave is quite popular in Florida .. Love mine ..........

I'm in the order process for a Mojave. I think the suspension is going to be more ideal for my needs, a daily driver, yet ready to handle everything I throw at it on the beaches.

I already have a Rubicon JL and the suspension is a tad rough for a daily....for me

Keeping the stock suspension (not lifting) is exactly why I bought a Mojave. I had a lifted JK before and it constantly floated on the highway (which almost killed me).

After doing the rock crawling thing and constantly breaking this or that, in the end, the bulk of what we ended up doing in the JK was just cruising Forest Roads mixed in with with a few obstacles to get to a secluded spot to camp. The Mojave is perfect for that.

I just got back from a weekend camping trip and my wife kept commenting on how comfortable the Mojave was on dirt roads. With fully aired up tires, I was going 30+ mph on roads that we'd go 10 mph on in the JK.

All I have is anecdotal evidence, but for the first 6 months after the Mojave was first released, about 9 out of the 10 Gladiators I saw were all Mojaves. I have actually seen more Mojaves than Rubicons, but I have only recently started seeing regular Sports in the wild.

I chose the Mojave for similar reasons as yours. I do not want an aftermarket lift, and the stock Mojave looks great as is. I've used the locker 1 legitimate time, rock crawling is not my thing. I put 6,000 miles in a year, similar 2nd vehicle situation to yours. It handles nicely on the road and off. I do want to add 35's, but not any time soon with the tire prices being high. Being an Aggie, my only snag before buying was accepting the orange accents. I embraced the orange as a tribute to my wife's alma mater Miami :) The interior scheme is nice and the seats are unique to the Mojave.

Moved from a Rubicon to a Mojave.

Won't be moving back unless I get a miracle of a deal on a Rubicon and can get suspension like a Mojave lol.

Exactly why I bought mine. If you want to rock crawl or do custom suspension options there are better choices, but for a guy wanting to stick with OEM suspension, and use the rig as as adventure enabler the Mojave is amazing. I added Cooper ST MAXX LT285/75R17 - 34.06 x 11.1 tires and while I do like the the look of the 35+ tires, mine is all I need. :)

I don't see many Mojaves around me, but that kind of confounds me since we live in TX. If I'd had the budget for it, I'd have probably gone with a Mojave over a Rubicon. Just level the front a bit, add 35s, and be done with it. Instead, I've been building up a Max Tow to replicate much of the same functionality. In the end, I'll have saved a bit, but probably not all that much.

A MOJAVE for the homerun.
A GOBI MOJAVE for the grand slam.
