Leather armrest looks like alien acid destroyed it :)

I have 2019 Gladiator and I noticed a few months ago the right console cover armrest looks like the leather was stretching. Ive done a bunch of work/moves for some friends and maybe was sweating a bit... so now it looks like an alien melted half the leather. Is it cheap leather? Has anyone had this happen? Ive never experienced this on. any car. Is there a replacedment/Easy swap for another black arm rest?

Wow! That looks like my 24 year old Crown Vic armrest. Yes, moisture kills the material. I had mine recovered on the Crown Vic, but I had the seats done at the same time, so I have no idea of the cost. I bet you can order a new armrest that would match your interior.

No issues with mine, but that may be because I have always just used something like this. Once installed, you'd be hard-pressed to tell it's even on there. Mine looks OEM.

If you’re reaching back with your left I would bet you’re naturally leaning over with you elbow on the lid.

That plus sweat plus never wiping it off would do this.
