Max tow package with Trac Lok?

bummed mine doesn't have it, but was eventually going to put in a rear locker anyways. Oh well, at least I didn't get charged $195 for my billet silver . Looks like the online build tool isn't even updated with this yet.

Mine with Max tow has the Trac Lok. Haven't checked the build date on it. I'll look it up and post back. Took ownership of mine last Monday

Has anyone actually opened up one of the early max tow diffs to see if we have it? maybe it was just an error on the early build sheets? Slim chance... I know, but I'll stay optimistic

Judging by some reports of less than stellar snow performance, I'd say prolly not . . .

I'm honestly surprised so many people want it for snow. I'm glad I ordered last year. Trac-Lok, sometimes affectionately known as "Trash-Lok", is terrible for icy, slippery roads. It tends to swing the rear end out, rather than pushing it forward.

It may possibly help for deeper snow, but for 99% of winter road conditions most people I know including myself strongly dislike it.

The last two trucks I had both were equipped with trac lock. The 2500 with Cummins would break free and you could kiss your own a$$! The 1500 5.7L not so much! Had to shut down the TCS. I think that’s what it was called. Either way I never had a real issue with it! But it’s nice to have in deep snow or even muddy road/trails!

It should be on a card in your glove box, it came wrapped with the owners manual and other papers

My JT has Max Tow and it rolls through deep snow effortlessly. I'll have to find the window sticker and look for Traction Lock.

So from the help above my Gator Sport S I’ve found that it was built December 17th and I drove it home 18 days later.... really wish I would’ve known they were going to be putting LSD with the 4:10 gears in these! Really kind of upsets me. And I’m being politically correct saying upsets me!
