3 MONTHS, to get my 2019 Specialized ST FSR Expert bavk from the shop. This was not their fault, I had to have the front shock replaced and everything is backordered!

But she is back and ready to roll! Now I have to get used to the 29” wheels again after running the FSR Stumpy 26er!

Just ordered yesterday, this is my current setup on my tundra, do you guys think it will work on the gladiator. Is there room to work under the bedrail, is it stout enough?

I made cross bars from some aluminum I had and connected it to my DIY system. The picture with the bike up is just the test fit so not fully strapped down.

The caps are mostly hollow. You might want to shim the underside to keep it from drooping under the weight of the loaded crossbars.
Will you be anchoring to the tub itself or just riveting to the cap?

How long is the tent? Do you find it inconvenient sticking out past the tailgate?

it’s like 6.25’
The biggest inconvenience is trying to sit on the tailgate with it on there, it still fits in the garage though. Also, just found out if I were to use the bike hitch rack, I’d need an extender because the handlebars hit the tent. No major complaints.

Kuat has a Gladiator in the promo video for their new $1400 hitch mount.


Its expensive as hell, but it's about time somebody put tail lights on a these big ass bike racks. My Kuat completely blocked the tail lights on my Focus ST, when it was folded up.

Anyone tried it? I dont have a cover nor bedrack, just want an open bed for other stuff

I have tried a few different designs for the bed sides. They all twist the bed side badly. You will need more stiffness and need to tie into other parts of the bed to get it stable

The crossbars really aren't that bad over the bed. I have a rolling tonneau cover and can still roll it up with the bars attached. If I needed to put larger items in the bed, I only have to remove 4 bolts then the cross bars and bike racks come right off.
