Mounted my Fire Extinguisher!

I was looking at their magnetic clip but was concerned about it holding the unit securely.
Can you post a picture of where you have it mounted?

Will do later today. It holds it very securely. Of course it’s also very simple to Velcro strap if desired. They are fairly light weight and small.

They’re not cheap but are smaller and perform better than conventional extinguishers.

That thing is pretty freaky = you gotta 'light' it to get the extinguisher started.
You could probably mount it with a pair of flashlight mounts tho.
And never expires.

Great idea on the flashlight mount. I just ordered one from Quadratec

The magnet is so strong that when I pull on the Element it pops out of the clip without the magnet coming off.

I'm going to keep an eye out for those Elements. I saw them in Griots magazine, too. In the meantime, I mounted mine in the bed on my BRI rack.

I’ve got an Element secured to my drivers seat. Instead of the magnet, I took two of the plastic clips they sell and secured them to the seat adjustment bar with zip ties. It’s very secure and easy to get to.

Just got my Element Fire Extinguisher last night and mounted it with a Quadratec flashlight holder to the rear roll bar.
Looks great!

I bought an extra plastic clip and secured with zip ties. If they slip over time lll check out that flashlight holder but I think this should be good to go.

The extinguishers that have the dry chemical in them should not be stored in the upright position in a vehicle. The motion of the vehicle oacks the powder into the bottom of the canister and COULD result in not being able to be evacuated as planned when needed. Just fyi

I wasn’t sure if i would be able to mount it inside but I wanted to try and mount it somewhere on the roll bar. I got a strap from Amazon and it fits perfect! I’m really happy with the location of it! Where have others mounted yours?

Really not liking the idea of this being around someone’s head in the event of an accident.
