Can anyone tell me whether Jscan and/or Tazer will allow you to turn on the touchscreen navigation while moving? I hate when the Navigation locks as soon as you start moving.
Why not just use Android Auto or Carplay?

I just installed some rear led taillight bulbs and reverse led bulbs, now I'm getting a rear turn signal light bulb out message and hyperflashing only on the dash only, not the outside rear. So to be clear they are working as normal visually from the outside. Tried to use the JScan to set for LEDs in the rear but no dice, it didn't take. Anyone know what I need to do to get it to work. I'll message the guy and see what he says but if anyone already knows feel free to give me some advice.

I just bought everything needed an hour ago.
$30 for the VGATE (Prime free shipping)
$40 for the additional cable needed (Prime free shipping)
$19 for one car license (Will buy later)

So about $90 all in for one car.

The two parts arrive on Friday.

Side note .... I need it for four cars so I need to spend near $62 instead of the $19
what cable is needed in addition to the Vgate obd? I want to make sure I purchase everything that I need the first time.... thanks!

I also answered this earlier at the bottom of page 5 of this thread in post number #75

I listed both links for the products I bought and used successfully.

I can’t even get to those stages, I messaged jscan to troubleshoot & got a few suggestions from them & it still didn’t work for me so I hit them up again & waiting for more suggestions
What are you trying to do and are you using Android or iPhone?

Does the device get power, and did you pair it to your phone via Bluetooth? Which of those two are you using (and why do you have 2)?

I cannot get it to connect to the Jeep.. everything you see belongs to my mechanic at the Jeep shop... I’m trying to find another JT or JL to see if the same issue happens to them as well, btw there is actually 3 there & I am using an iPhone

1. Does the OBD power on when plugged in?
2. Did you push the button on the OBDLink to make it discoverable, and connect to it on your phone?

You can’t get it to electronically connect to the Jeep until you connect the device to your phone.

I'm pretty sure iphones require wifi to connecti and a OBD that links up via WiFi to the iphone. I'm almost positive I read that somewhere and android is by bluetooth. I'll try to find the forum I read it in.

iPhones connect via BT. I’m using one with OBDLink MX+
