Hey all. Hope everyone had a great weekend. As title says, have a 22 Mojave with stock wheels and tires. Going to replace the tires before winter (live in NJ) and would like to go from 33s to 35s. Have searched and read a bunch of threads, but wanted to get some opinions on what tires people would recommend while keeping the stock wheels. I was thinking about the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 255 85 17 pizza cutters but not sure if I like the look of the narrower wheels.

I run 37" KO2's which are just 35.75" mounted. They look great on the truck with no lift. Off road slight rub which is easy to fix with slight fender liner trimming. Plus I get 17 city/20 hwy.

I have 35s with no lift and take it off road on moderate trails…no rub. Regret not getting 37s.

Just throw a sway bar disconnect on there. You'll rub (a very very small amount) on the inner fender liner. It's pretty much the perfect sized tire for a Mojave.

As i've heard others say: 'if you're not rubbing a little bit, you should have bought larger tires"

You can add a sway bar disconnect to a Mojave?

Absolutely. i love mine:
autoLYNX - JEEP SWAY BAR DISCONNECT – Apex Performance Products
It's a bit pricey compared to some of the other options, but man does it make up for it with ease of use.

Edited to add:
I just noticed the website says
apexdesignsusa.com said:
Requires inner fender modification: How To Trim Your Inner Fender Liner
Which i find odd. That was neither mentioned nor required at all when i bought and installed mine, and it doesn't look like the design has changed at all.

Thanks for the link!! Will take a look and maybe have the dealer install it at the same time as the new tires.

A narrower tire than 11.50 will perform better in snow and rain than wider tires. Not to mention weight less to spin up and control under rough conditions. Unsprung weight is the enemy of efficiency and power. Plus the narrow footprint has more lbs per sq inch for traction and digging, plus more resistance to hydroplaning. Good luck!

Thanks! I may go with the Mickey Thompsons. Reviews are good and sounds like they will perform better in the northeast winters.

Just here to swing from Apex's nuts and recommend those (I personally have a set, love them), and answer yet again that 35s fit fine on a Mojave, and I think the pizza cutters would look cool.

You only may need that with 10.5" on a Mojave, or on a Sport with either model.
