Trying to find an all terrain tire for most road use that’s good for is all weather conditions especially snow/ice but still have a cool aggressive look. What do you all think.

The Falken Wildpeak A/T3W that came on my Mojave have a fairly aggressive look, but they are quiet and handle well on the road. A friend of mine has them on his Tacoma and he really likes them as well.

So, Talking with the manager the local Discount tire. Younger guys go for Nitto. Guy's around my age 60 Will choose the BFG KO2 most of the time. I have had great luck with KO2 will always choose them. (silent, all weather, Last) Un sprung weight is a big factor for our under powered JT. I want a C rated tire not E and a wheel that is super light. Like a Method 316 But the light weight C rated 37/11.5/18 tire is not out there.....

I don't have a ton of miles on them yet but... I just picked up a set of Maxxis Razr AT tires. The MT version of this tire has great reviews so I thought I would give these a try. They also happen to be a bit cheaper than the other tires right now.

I was looking for an AT tire but the KO2 looks like an antique, but not in a cool way. Its just getting long in the tooth design-wise. Great tire but not one that I want.

Not a Nitto or Toyo fan boy so I wanted something else.

These have a 50k mile warranty but do run a bit small, like the BFGs do.

I'm getting these put on my Overland for basically the exact reasons as the OP. I went in thinking I wanted KO2s, but the guys at the shop talked me out of them because he said there are better tires in snow. They recommended the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W and the Nitto Terra Grappler G2 for mostly road use, but could do some wheeling and tackle snow well. They said the Toyo ATIII are a good option too.

You’re gonna get everyone’s favorite tire mentioned here, same as if you’d asked for oil recommendations…

I’m running the Bridgestone Dueler AT, and it’s performed well.
Continental also makes a good AT light truck tire, but I don’t know if it’s available as anything but a load range E.

^ I had those Coopers from @jludave comment on my previous JKU and they were excellent tires. To be perfectly honest, for my JT I literally Google searched "Cheapest 35 inch tires" and got these:

Delium Terra Raider M/T KU-255, 35X12.50R17, 121Q, E (10 Ply) (prioritytire.com)

I really love them, so far I've got about 15,000 miles on them and they are working great. They are a higher ply than a lot of tires, so when you air down you need to air down a little further to get the same amount of flattening as the sides hold up stronger. Here's an example of them from my Moab trip, aired to 18.

PS: Search around for a sale, these are listed at like $245 but I got them at $180 each.

Falken Wildpeak AT3W worked so well on my JKU that I bought a set for my JT.

+1 on the Falken Wildpeak AT3W’s. Had them on my Tundra, reasonably quiet on road, good for off road & excellent in snow. Probably will go back to them when my KO2’s wear out.

Goodyear Duratrac hands down. I used to manage a tire shop and I've heard nothing but rave reviews about their snow/ice performance from the guys I used to work with. Everything else in this thread is ahead of them for an off-road tire but they're what I'd get for mostly on-road use.

Just avoid E range if you can... C is preferred, D acceptable, and even a P-metric tire is great if you really aren't off road a lot.

Honestly, I think most of the major names make good ATs. I've had good service from KO2s and Yokohama Geolandar AT, personally. Never an issue in any weather or road condition I've encountered. Between those two, I'd give the nod to the Geolandars for quietness and to the KO2s off road but neither has ever gotten me stuck.

I went with general grabber at/x and really like them. They are quiet on the highway but still a pretty aggressive tire.
