. I believe someone makes a D60 rear with the 5ive lug pattern, I think... For the front, I'd prefer a super D-44, 5-lug. Weight is important, and with this setup, I'd be better off.
@Flyin6 On my JTRD I run a OEM from axle Built. RCV axles ,Artec Truss, Dynatrac Ball joints, RockJock Currectlyn knuckles and steering( Hi Steer) and a East Coast Gear D 60 rear axle semi float. on 5x5. I am interested in stepping up to D60s and 42s. If you interested in axles let me know.

Even though I only had them up front, the Powerstop pads and rotors were a noticeable upgrade from stock. I was quite pleased with them. My Gladiator just turned over 100k and my rear brakes were still stock and pretty much done. So my assessment may not be 100% fair, as I am comparing front Powerstops with 40k~ish miles on them and clapped out rears to brand new Teraflex Delta brakes all around. The Delta brakes definitely give a nice firm pedal and gobs of stopping power.

I am super interested in your v8 swap. I plan to keep this truck a long time, longer than my Pentastar will likely last...
I know what you mean about keeping the truck. After you paid a few $10K and have invested a ton of sweat equity, you no longer wish to trade up for the newest thing.
So what would I get with a new Gladiator? Well, higher cost to begin with. I'll need to redo everything I have done so far, which could cost $50K. How would I benefit? Well, I'd get a bigger screen. Who cares about screen size?
The Hemi will complete this truck, making it a forever vehicle.

For the moment, no. I am knee deep in this motor and now gear ratio swap. Interestingly, my front axle is set up a lot like yours. The D60 semi-float might be interesting...

Now I just happen to own a very low-mileage Pentastar and transmission. Come to think of it, if I don't return the supercharger, I have one of those as well. ;-)

It looks like I may be waiting a bit to get this swap complete. Yesterday, I was told it will likely be a couple more weeks before they begin.

Not totally pleased but also not disappointed.
I learned a long time ago that things of great value are worth waiting for.

Do you ever hit any trails on the DBBB or KAT? I used to live in Lawrenceburg Indiana before we moved to Florida last year. The DBBB and KAT were my weekend getaway wheeling spots.

I purchased my AEV in Lawrenceburg!

Yes to both. The Daniel Boone National Forest is covered in trails. We visit one near McKee, KY. We have also been on parts of the KAT. That thing is now over 1000 miles, I believe. I want to take that guided 3-day run out of Tennessee, well up into Kentucky. Parts of the "newer" KAT touch spaces where the locals get a bit anxious and noisy. Can't blame them, I guess. As with most Jeep trails, the SxS crowd ruins it for us by tearing up the place, running loud exhausts, and excessive partying.

Have you wheeled anywhere around the Morehead area? That's my next weekend trip after I get Hemized...

I have a little bit. It was pretty good as well if I am remembering correctly.

Clifton in the JK I had before my JT.

Been there!

Did you visit the spot where a river flows out of the rock wall, then back into it a short distance later? Near McKee, KY

I had a JK as well. I DID NOT like it!

That whole area is great.
Have you been to feed the wild horses in Jackson yet? If not, it is definitely worth checking out. I believe Elk View is the official name of the area. The KAT runs through it.

No, not yet, but I'll check it out. In the meantime, get your butt back up here, and you can show me yourself.

And I apologize to all for side-tracking my own thread, but with all this waiting around, I don't have anything constructive to post :-(
