Seriously though, I had a similar thing happen to me about 2 years ago. I ordered a new king size foam mattress, the ones that come in a huge box and I received it about a week later. Then about a week after that I received another one. When I called them they said to just keep it!
I used it in our new vacation home!

Interesting how quick and willing most are to get down and take advantage.

I'd bet money only one shows up anyway, but a 3 year old can tell you that taking things you didn't pay for is wrong. And buying things you know someone obtained immorally is also wrong.

Why don't you guy's just hire local tweakers to pull winches off bumpers for you? Saving a buck is saving a buck right?

I doubt they'll send all them winches. I'd hang onto them a bit to be sure they don't ask for them back. IF they send you that many, dang... that's a lot of money they're out. An extra item, eh, but a dozen? That's a big error, I'd want to try to correct it, at least a little.

My opinion doesn't matter either way, but I like to believe Jeepers do the right thing, even when they don't have to.

I don't know if anybody said this yet but being the proactive type there are two things I would do first.
One, check my method of payment to see if they charged me for that many items.
Two, call the supplier to tell them what's happening to make sure and clear it up before it becomes a major headache.

i had a whole thing typed out... came out meaner than i wanted it to so i deleted it... but i will summarize my thoughts by saying: this thread leads me to believe most of you don't put your shopping carts away.

Yeah seriously think I’d have to contact them BEFORE they sent anything out. If someone did screw up and they send all those even if you contact them they will have to pay shipping both ways. Its going to cost them a boatload in shipping fees which they would have to eat or pass it along to their more honest customers.Sorry but thats the moral thing to do.

Certainly there's a glitch in the matrix and OP likely isn't getting several dozen winches for the price of one. Chances are he's already contacted the retailer.

Yes, I did call and speak with someone from Warn. They have a problem with their system and have no idea why it's duplicating things after an order is placed and paid for. Good news is that what I ordered is what was shipped - nothing more, nothing less.

For those that really thought I would have kept and resold something sent accidentally, lighten up! I'm not that type of person.
