When I finally wear out my Patagonias I may move to these. I looked everywhere before but never came across them. I would like to drop the extra inch of width.

WTH - 400 plus dollars for tires? I am new but that is crazy expensive, I think I might just keep my 33 inch tires and get into overlandings LOL. no rock climbing for me until these prices lowers.

I need more pictures, these have peaked my interest
Here are a few more action shots. Tires do pretty well, but take a bunch of weight to balance and howl like a pack of wolves. I am planning on upsizing to 40's and 13.5 with a better compound for more traction though

You sure you didn't buy tractor tires by accident?

Has anybody mounted up the Nitto Recon in the 37x11.50r17?
I really was leaning toward these, but review after review clearly states they are not for use in snow belt regions. I’m sure they’ll be fine, for the price I’ll stick with the BFG AT and keep the 3 peak rating.

I think taller skinnier tires will work perfect on this truck. Even 38s or so.

From what I can tell this M939 uses a 395/85R20 which is a 46x15.5. I think a 38 or 39 even at 11.5 would look roughly the same, would love to see photos.

I’ve had my Recon Grapplers for a few weeks now. They do not disappoint! They’re very quiet and smooth driving. They seem to do very well in snow. Haven’t had them in the mud too much but that’s probably going to be their weak point, I try to avoid it anyways. With them being skinny and light weight the stock 4.10’s do pretty well. I definitely want a regear but I can hold 8th on flat roads. I have them mounted on Method 703 17x8.5 +25 offset. The Jeep is a max tow with a Clayton 2.5 lift and a 1 inch spacer up front.

First picture is with Toyo 35x11.50 for comparison. Second one is the Toyos next to the Nittos.

So would the 6lbs less per tire of the BFG KO2's save me fuel even if they're 1" wider than the 11.5" Nitto Recons? Or is wind resistance negligible?

Discount Tire, is selling me 5 Nittos at $2255 or 5 BFG's at $2364 + mil discount.
