I'm not sure if anyone mentioned. But by removing the propane tanks from the tongue you destabilize the trailer. You want the weight to be on the tongue for trailer stability. WDH is a good idea and a little bumper sag isn't a bad thing, you're better planted when the cross wind comes.

Nice trailer btw.

Looks good, and happy to hear that they are making an RV without the wood and luan, how's the insulation or is there much?

Please do get a WDH hitch, there are many reasons beyond the weight distribution aspects like sway control, sag and stopping. I've been in situation where the sway of a trailer got the best of me, I'd never go without it now. I assume you have trailer brakes.

Have had my eye on this camper. Been searching for a small light weight camper with a dry bathroom. Most small campers I have seen have wet bathrooms. I like having a separate shower.

I have been looking at a TT that is very similar, but I haven’t seen a review with a JT pulling one. I am very interested in all of the details of your trips. Safe travels!

I also have a Mojave, my camper is a little bigger at 16' and about 1000 lbs heavier.

I won't move it with the Jeep without the WD hitch.

Also have Airlift 1000's I run at 50 psi, helps tremendously.

I get where I'm going no problem, as long as there's not a time limit lol.

From the information I have been able to get, in between the exterior aluminum and the interior wall board is a fully welded aluminum frame/studs. In between that is something similar to Azdel insulation board.

I think I'm going to go ahead and be proactive and cut some reflective sheets to fit into all the windows. The windows are frameless and tinted. During the summer I'm going to put the reflectix in each window during the day just to not overwork the a/c.

Nice trailer! Reminds me of my NuCamp tear drop I had a few years back. Mostly composite and aluminum (with a steel trailer frame) and the only wood was solid maple plywood. No MDF or particle board anywhere.

I have been loosely looking for an old school pop up myself. The budget / use case isn't there for a travel trailer...(yet).

It comes equipped with a 200W panel on the roof. The solar keeps the 12V battery charged and runs the refrigerator, lights, fan and water pump. It is prepped for an inverter and has a port to hook up additional panels.

The axle is a Dexter TorFlex, independent suspension.

Those Torflex axles ride so dang nice. My teardrop had one.

I low key want to put one on my utility trailer 😄
