Not trying to be argumentative, but what do you base that claim off of that WIX is the OEM for the MOPAR filters?FYI, most of the MOPAR branded oil filters for the JT are made by WIX and labeled MOPAR.
And when it's time to sell - or TRADE, it's worth money back to you. Dealers these days look that stuff up. When we traded my wife's 2018 GC with Spencer at Spirit Lake, good grief, he knew as much about that Jeep as we did! Including all maintenance. Maybe that's why we got top-dollar, aside from the fact he's a good honest guy, that is.I buy the mopar oil filters from Amazon and use Pennzoil Platinum 0w-20. I change the oil every 3K to 3.5K miles and put all the owner maint. information in the Jeep maint. application online. The dealer also adds their information on TSB and recalls in the same app., so, you end up with a nice maint. record with both dealer entries and owner entries. No questions from the dealer on whether you are keeping up on the maint. It is all there for them to see.
Why none other than Bob the Oil Guy, among other places that agree with him and they all trade info. Not trying to be argumentative, but what do you base that claim off of that WIX is the OEM for the MOPAR filters?
I have owned 3 FCA vehicle to include my JT that have had 2014+ Pentastar that use the current MOPAR MO-349 style oil filter. I have used multiple WIX oil filters and seen probably 3 variations of design or country of origin sourcing of the WIX filters and none of them would have made me think the WIX was the OEM for the MOPAR Oil filter
I found these at my local las vegas wal-mart for a buck.Walmart carries Mopar. I’ll be using that when I can until the warranty expires.
Winning!I found these at my local las vegas wal-mart for a buck.
