The stock Mojave is amazing, very capable for most trails and light rock crawling without a front locker. Mine is well built with front lockers, RCV front axle shafts, spicer chromoly rear axle shafts, Tom Woods drive shafts front and rear, 3” JKS loft with 37” tires, and a few other improvements.

I might find out this coming weekend. Going to hit a local "Jeep event". Sounds like they have bunny hills, my speed.

Thanks, I suppose I will learn what its strengths and weaknesses are in time. So far I am enjoying it but I haven’t even got it down a gravel road yet.
Nice looking rig, I am digging those front and rear bumpers. I may have look at them in the near future.
The Mojave will do 90% of what the Rubicon will do, BUT the Rubicon can’t do half what the Mojave can do.

Try it out and see. If you haven't driven any other Gladiator, you'll be amazed at what you can do and where you can go.

With the inability to easily disconnect the sway bar, it seems that will hamper the Jeeps front suspension.
The soft suspension will work well on rocks. You also won't be thrown around with the will bolstered seats.

I drove my ‘21 Mojave in the mountains of Colorado, the canyons of Utah and everything in between. Only in the most extreme crawling will the Rubicon outperform the Mojave. Did most of engineers pass in 2wd, most of Ophir pass in 2wd. The white rim, chicken corners, onion creek, and the first half of fins and things were a breeze, with exit angles being the biggest issue. I am now running 35’s on my ‘24 Mojave with stock suspension and I am totally impressed. Don’t doubt the Mojave just because it’s different than the Rubicon, it is still a beast, that outperforms nearly all other trucks

There i fixed it for you 😂.

Rubicon owners don't want to admit it but, the 4:1 Transfer Case is geared so low it is not very useful except in extreme rock crawling. I much prefer the 2:72. I've owned both. Been to Uwharrie and Winrock in both on the same trails. I preferred my Mojave.

How often are you just riding in 4lo? I only use 4lo when needed so the 4:1 has served me well and I much prefer it to the 2.72:1 in the wife's jeep as that off idle torque just lets me control wheel spin and crawling oh so well. I also shift in and out of it quite a bit though so maybe I just drive it different..

4lo helps to keep temps down and speeds slow. I'm Michigan, we use 4lo in the winter and summer to minimize brake wear.

I live in Michigan and drive my Mojave everywhere you want to take a 50,000 vehicle you have to drive to work on Monday.

I've never unhooked a swaybar to go wheeling in my life. I may either have one or not, but I've never disconnected.

I have not in past with any of the Jeeps I had, but have on the Mojave and it is a nice thing, it is half the beauty of the solid axle letting your tire drop into the hole opposite the rock you are climbing over no big dropping into the low side hard and quick as the suspension is doing it's thing already instead of hanging in the air. You can four wheel anywhere and not disconnect but try it sometime for kicks......Jack

Fair point.
My Rock Crawling experience where 4Lo is needed has been limited to Tellico/Winrock/Uwharrie, The western rocks may be different. Low speed rock crawling here includes driving from one obstacle to the next. We almost never switch between transfer case gears on these types of trails. This has always been done in 4Lo. Or we are in a group and you are hardly moving from one to the next. If I need 4Lo today, I also need some resemblance of a little speed.

I do things usually solo or really small group, so like in windrock I traveled maybe a total of a couple hundred yards in 4lo doing panther rock, trail 10, and trail 16 all in the same day. I do also have 5.13s though which before the regear I used 4lo more often since the lack of torque was real with 39s and beadlocks.

It’s a Jeep……. it’s a truck…….. It’s got more capabilities than a lot of other Wranglers or other jeeps out there just by having 33’s and ONE locker. There are IFS trucks without lockers that can handle certain levels of rock crawling.

Don’t overthink it……. Just drive it…..get it dirty….. go play!!

And honestly?? If you were a seasoned “rock crawler” or have done any rock crawling at all…… you’d already know the answers to your questions (just by looking at how its equipped).

What kind of rock crawling have you done? What vehicle were you driving when you were rock crawling? How were those equipped?

99% of the history of 4 wheeling electric lockers and sway bar disconnects weren't a thing.

People do Engineers pass and Black bear pass and the Rubicon in open diff flat fenders.

Now they sell people heated seats and electric lockers with blue tooth sway bars to go to jeeps and Java and park on the curb.
