Only the Desert Rated Mojave can ford Hatteras Canyon.
I'll check the transmission fluid tomorrow. I'm sure it's fine.
Yup, can always count on my friend to be there with insanely quick thinking.

We've done Dunkel Hollow, Flagpole, Unions Springs, Broad Run Road, and parts of Bald Mountain.
I refuse to go on any pinstipers. People in VA need to learn how run an offset bush hog or a batwing. LOL

Rosie and I left on a 2-week road trip to Death Valley, CA.

We did the first 250 miles today to Wenatchee, WA. Took Scenic North Cascades Hwy (WA-20) through North Cascades Natl. Park.

I moved to Washington State 7 years ago; this is the 7th consecutive time I do the mountain crossing once the scenic highway reopens in the spring. It truly is one of the most beautiful roads anywhere. I doesn't get old.

A few shots.

Beautiful, I've lived in Washington all my life and have yet to do the whole Cascade loop. Done parts and it is a Beautiful drive.
Hwy 14 from I-5 to US-97 is a nice drive also.
I'd drive another 15 miles past Bend and stay in Sunriver personally, but that's just me.

Wish I had see this sooner. We are staying at a local motel in Bend; it is okay.
