Drove from the south of Pittsburgh to Denver for a funeral service. Driving back home now. 3000 miles round trip in 5 days.

I wouldn't mind a tropical storm myself. Maybe it would help us break the heat cycle we all have been dealing with. I don't wish any damage on anyone, but a day or two of soaking rain would be very welcome here.

I finished up my minor installations then chased down a slotted key for the lugnuts that the dealer couldn't seem to find and finally confirmed by speedometer error, due to the LT285/70R17 tires, at 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 & 75 MPH.

Got trailer hooked up, 4wheeler loaded that was "pleasant" at 100° or so no shade. Stopping to cool off a few minutes in between each tie down strap and what not. Took off north, in TN a good rain storm then some Ass Clown in left lane driving 30 mph with flashers on and hitting brakes continuously to brake check everyone. At least the temperature dropped down to 72°-74°. up into KY temperature came back up some. I seen some high engine oil temperature and cooling before and after the rain, from what I noted the computer controls and monitors that to calculate oil life. It decided that I had used up 9% of oil life in about 400 miles. Yeah, oil temperature got up to 233° or so and engine coolant close to that too. I wasn't even rolling at quite the speed limit, So I came to the conclusion that I need to lighten my trailer some I think, it's a heavy S.O.B. a steel mesh vs treated wood. I know it's over built for most of my use.

Inspired by the original JL forum threads, I noticed the "do TO your..." thread was here on Gladiator forums, but not the "do WITH your..." thread. So post up pics of your gladiator adventures here to this megathread!

Didn't get pics, but today included all below with soft top down:
- Washing the gladiator
- Early drive to a country fair (30 miles away)
- Hooked up the 4X8 trailer and went to pick up large item from Home Depot
- Stopped at large farm stand and brought home a lot in bed
- Now loading my hitch bike rack and getting ready to go bicycling
- Later will pick up new Blackstone grill and then Wife and I go to a friend's cookout
