Need to quit flexing and showing off your lawn.I drove her to work. I wish I lived closer to snow-capped mountains!
Mowing every 3 days is getting old fast. I stopped using my riding mower so I could get some exercise (and because my riding mower has a tire that goes flat every couple of days). I'm about go back to the riding mower.Need to quit flexing and showing off your lawn.
I am just jealous. I have a black thumb when it comes to lawn maintenance and landscaping. I can mow great, just all the other chemical and lawn treatment stuff I regularly f*ck up somehow.Mowing every 3 days is getting old fast. It's not that bad. Getting rid of the weeds is the hardest thing. Pre-emergent in the March. Herbicide and fertilizer in April. Fertilizer every 6 weeks during the growing season. Dethatch and aerate and overseed in the fall. I pay someone to do all the spraying. I do the rest myself. I just wish I could get rid of all the poison ivy in the shrub beds.I am just jealous. What kind of policy do you have? I'll be talking to my agent once I get my truck setup.Well...for about 8 years I have carried one of the ARB Portable Twin Compressors in the back of my 2016 JKUR but some jackwagon decided to steal it from me. The insurance paid out the full value of it (State Farm is awesome, they gave me the full purchase price I paid in 2017) and so I decided it is time to hard mount a compressor like I did in my 2020 JTR.
It’s nothing “special”; just full coverage. Here’s a pic of the coverage section of my card:What kind of policy do you have? I'll be talking to my agent once I get my truck setup.
I have State Farm and had a similar situation many, MANY years ago. Someone stole a Garmin GPS unit out of my car and they gave me the full price of the unit to buy a new one. So far, I've had great luck with State Farm. It’s nothing “special”; just full coverage. Here’s a pic of the coverage section of my card:

Just talk to the agent and ask what the coverage will provide in a given scenario. I had specifically talked to my agent about how much I have added to my JTR and whether I needed a rider or an RV policy because I have an embarrassing amount of money added to my Gladiator. She told me that as long as I have the receipt and a pic of the item installed on my vehicle, then it would be covered; RTT, solar panels, pullout kitchen, everything. The only thing they won’t reimburse is my labor. So as an example, I paid a shop to install my lift and their labor and parts are covered. I installed my own Rhino Rack backbone, sound deadening and CoverKing Topliner; my labor won’t be reimbursed but all the parts will.
I see you and your bugs, and raise you more bugs... this was roughly a 20 mile stretch. Had to stop and wash windows twice, washer fluid and wipers wasn't doing it.On Friday took a wonderful early morning drive down Highway 14 along the Columbia River Gorge (Columbia separates Oregon & Washington). Highway 14 is on the Washington side, the Interstate is on the Oregon side. Chilly with the top off but so beautiful. Paused to snap a photo of Mt Hood.

Of course the drive way back that evening was equally wonderful, except my Jeep thought it was on bug death duty. I ran out of washer fluid about an hour from home. That meant getting up early Saturday to de-bug the Gladiator and while I was at it might as well wash my wife's Jeep too.
