What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

I normally go overboard on strapping stuff down when hauling stuff. I've not tried or trusted a net.

Ive used that net a few times now for hauling cardboard to FIL's dumpster. No issues, even at 60MPH. Its well made. I wouldn't use it for anything heavy - but cardboard, couch cushions, light wood scrap its great. Its basically made of medium duty bungee cord material.

I have a much heavier duty one made of 2" webbing and mesh with straps on each corner that I use for securing heavy items in bulk.

I used to use a net behind the front seats of my LJ to keep stuff out of the back of my head while bouncing around the desert. I’m still here so it worked fairly well. Thinking of using one again if I get a decked system to make a “loft” area under the bed cap in the back. I think it will work well for tent/bag/cot and keep me more organimized.

Spent some time on the ice this weekend. Fish weren't biting though.

My buddy from Missouri wanted to "camp on a frozen lake", so he came up and we went ice fishing. He got a good taste of MN winter, -10deg and 30+ mph winds.

Meh, it's not as bad as media makes it. Only place you're really going to see anything is the downtown metro. Anywhere else you wouldn't even know anything was going on.

I am glad we went last weekend and not this coming weekend. Near -50deg wind chills.

10 minutes in any direction I can find you a beautiful view of pine and oak forest filled with a meth lab or two carefully hidden.

Or a new DR Horton subdvision.

Yesterday Buried it in snow on the front lawn at 0300 turning it around to go to work .... took the mini R60 S instead ... ( forgot how fun that car is) came home tosssed a line on a tree little tension and drove out.
