Looked for ideas for storage in the cab. Decided to order a cargo net and then utilized some 550 cord to strap it up top behind the back seats. place to put some jackets and rain gear up there. Thoughts?

This is a great idea. I like it.

Not sure if this would be "To" or "With" as I had to take mine to Discount Tire to have a nail removed from my 2 week old tire(s) :(

I'd say you scored both:like: I had a screw at 10k miles. They say a patch is better and that's all they do. I didn't feel like waiting or having them mess up the balancing that took multiple tries to get right. Just threw a plug in mine.

Yeah, it happens. Would have been nice to at least have more than 500 miles on them. I swear these tires attract nails, my JLUR got a nail at 5600 miles.

So, the JTR can carry 21 bags of 80 lbs quikrete, (1680 lbs) - could barley slide a piece of paper between the bumpstops.. 37's, 3/4 inch spacer in the rear with 1 inch bump stops. driving... I could tell the weight was back there when stopping. No new noises though... even after 2 trips to Lowes to get the other 1680lbs I left behind.

Are you hand-pouring a slab? 3,400 lbs of concrete would have been cheaper to just pre-form yourself, and then call a company to deliver it already mixed and ready to drop it out of the chute on-site. :like:

that sounds HEAVY! any idea with trailer, how much that weighed?
Sorry. Just saw this.

60 good sized bales at about 50 per is 3,000. Trailer is about 2,500.

Took the doors off and went for a drive, sadly the FS has closed our closest road. So went to the nursery instead to work on the garden.

Somewhere around here there's a thread about using an auto-parts store motorcycle mirror when the doors are off. it works quite well.

Not to worry, that's actually my friend that drives a JLU and does serious overlanding. We talked Jeeps from 6 feet apart...

That was my first plan, but I wasn't sure how things would turn out, so I'm just doing a little at a time (bigger sidewalks on both sides of my driveway). I probably need another 25 bags next weekend, but i'll break that up over 2 trips. 42 bags was $150. 2 yards delivered is $470.

5500, that's less than I was thinking. Thanks!

Tell me you have a Harbor Freight mixer? With 20% off coupon, its like $160. WELL WORTH IT for the amount you're mixing.

As a former Geotech, just seems easier to get a truck...But, locations and Residential prices may differ from commercial in my location. Just trying to help. :like:
