Yes Elk are a lot bigger than deer. I hit one in the dark ages (1973) in Colorado with a GMC van not good.

Saw a big construction site on the way home today, whipped her around and got some mud on her! A lil hill climb, big ruts from excavators, some mud.

Went to another desert cleanup event. These guys do it right. They provide all the clean up supplies, the dumpsters and lunch. We show up and do the work. This was my third one and I will definitely continue to support this group! I wish people would stop littering. ?

Drove through heavy snow and rain in a northern California storm over the winter. Seven hours of inclement weather, and the Jeep never once faltered in anyway. Tires worked well, 4hi worked well.

Took the wife for an overnighter. About 12:20 am I heard something rustling through the leave around the jeep and thinking it’s a deer just casually fell back asleep. About 12:30 I felt the truck shake slightly so I slowly unzipped the window closest to the tailgate and checked it out. Nothing must have been the wind. As I was falling back asleep I felt it again this time behind our heads. I checked and sure as shit a black bear was trying to get in the back of the jeep. Quickly put my hand over my wife’s mouth and told her to be very quiet and fumbled around until I found the keys and set the alarm on the jeep off. Luckily it ran the bear off. We kept our devos on the rest of the night.

I went to install some oracle LED reverse light bulbs and when I walked around to the back of the jeep I realized I had already installed aftermarket LED tail lights. So I proceeded back into the house to email oracle about the return process. That’s what happens when you work 60 hrs a week and get on the phone in an exhausted state.
