Since there's no fun stuff to do with a Jeep around here, no beaches (every one I've been to doesn't allow driving on it), no trails no wilderness that allows you off a road in a motorized vehicle, all I get to do with our jeeps is work-related, making things happen.
So, I moved my trailer, pulled out a car in preparation for a guy stopping by with a trailer tomorrow to get it.
Hooked car onto rear of trailer with a tow strap around the bumper and hooked to the tie-down points on the trailer bed.
It's a truck, so I used it like a truck, pulled stuff, got a car out of the ground where all 4 tires had settled over half-way up to the rims.
Over 4+ years the tires had sunk into the ground quite a ways so it required 4L to get it up and out and things moving. Up hill on loose rock and gravel for the truck so babied the throttle but it seemed to know what I wanted and aided with an elevated idle for a while.
From where I am standing taking the shot below, I figure it's 6' up to the floor of the garage addition, so it's a fair climb on loose rock. I should have put on the pitch and roll display, I guess, because the right side of the truck was also up a fair amount due to my neighbor having built up a flat spot for his little shed and trailer parking.
You might say that was my rock crawling adventure for the weekend hahaha
