Towed the other off-road toy. The gladiator continues to impress me while towing. The Midwest serves it well for this purpose.

Work day at the gun club…..painting shooting benches. Sorry…no photos… My hands were covered with rubber gloves & paint. 🤣. The bed was loaded up with paint supplies & driving around from range to range with hubby sittin on the tailgate. Changed out my gloves everytime I got in the drivers seat.

But hey…we had some tunes to listen to, thanks to the Bluetooth speaker. 😉

I love this truck!!!

9 badges in 2 days is kinda crazy.
Wow, sounds intense. Excuse my ignorance, but which trail is the tunnel from?

Impressive. No clue how you did them all completely in 48 hours. How much was done at night?

whaaaat!? That’s insane! PLEASE share your itinerary. I don’t see how doing all of those trails in two days is even remotely possible—or at least I thought!

It's on Imogene Pass, about halfway up on the Telluride side.

20250829:
0700: depart Boise, ID
1845: Arrive in Ophir, CO, start Ophir pass
1930: Summit Ophir Pass
2015: find a spot 2/3 down the backside to set up my hammock and rack out
20250830:
0430: wake up, pack up camp
0515: start black bear pass in darkness, I wanted to be at the summit for sunrise.
0630: summit black bear pass, be mad that overcast rolled in 15 minutes before sunrise start descent
0700: regret taking the Gladiator down the backside of black bear pass.
0830: arrive in Telluride, grab energy drink
0900: start Imogene pass
1030: summit Imogene pass
1200: arrive in Ouray grab snack
1230: start poughkeepsie gulch
1315ish: decide to skip the wall obstacle because there's a 20 rig line and it's not that different from an obstacle on lower gatekeeper in Idaho.
1400: take California Pass from the end of Poughkeepsie to Engineer pass
1445: assist a JK blocking the trail who managed to stall, high center, and break his shifter cable all at once (impressive talent tbh)
1500: summit engineer pass
1630: Arrive in lake city. Decide I still have two days and Moab is only 4 hour away and mostly on the way back home.
2100: Arrive in Moab, grab a hotel room bed time
20250831:
0600: wake up, check jeep
0715: Start Kane Creek Canyon
1045: finish Kane creek, head to Wipeout hill
1130: start Wipeout hill
1300: finish Wipeout hill head to lost world
1400: Arrive at lost world
1500: finish lost world, head to Hells Revenge
1600: start hells revenge, do everything but the hot tubs and tip over challenge (no other full size rigs around, didn't want to get stuck)
1830: finish Hells Revenge.

It makes sense in some areas. It looks like you did only the lake city side of engineer? I’ve done all of these, a few more than once. I don’t know how you did Kane in 3.5 hours safely. I did it solo in 5 hours without damage and without bypassing anything. I didn’t take any breaks and was the only one out there until hamburger hill. I did hamburger in 10 minutes, but waited for two JLs winching before I could start. But I only waited 20 mins or so. I’ve done hells several times and even not doing escalator or tip over, that seems fast, but doable solo I guess. I did wipeout in 3 hours solo, but went up wipeout hill, then both directions on the lateral petrified sand dune above it, then back down wipeout and exited the traditional way.

And people told me I went hard when I was out west! I'd wheel that itinerary anytime!

This is the path I followed through the Alpine loop:
Jeep Gladiator What did you do WITH your Gladiator today? FB_IMG_1756688816858

Do you spend alot of time stopping to take pictures? Pre plan routes/lines? All my completion times fall within averages for someone solo who isn't waiting at any obstacles which is the conditions I got to enjoy thankfully. Honestly surprised the shit out of me not seeing any other groups out on a holiday weekend. The only thing I think that was probably dangerous was doing escalator with no spotter, that was pretty dumb, but no damage and no injuries so oh well.

I’ve been wanting escalator for a while. Skipped it on my first time out on hells in 22, but haven’t had a chance since. Last time we got to the gate and then the weather turned.

Still working on the cabin so the JT is relegated to desert work truck status. Insulated the 1st floor walls, finished the electrical, and got the beadboard paneling done. Still need to do the loft, trim, and paint. Building a remote off grid cabin 600 miles from home is time consuming but worth every second.
