Started with this load yesterday............

Tomorrow, this much goes back. Economized and re-used some 2x4s and increased the rise of the steps a bit over "code" (heck, it's a loft in a garage addition, not stairs to a bathroom or something) (ignore the sand, it's ballast for when the snow plow is on)

(the long wooden piece standing against the wall under the stairs is a new old stock tongue for a horse-drawn sickle mower I hope to someday restore)
Now to figure out how to get all of my antique engines and accessories back in there with the reduced floor space so I can back my SX4 back where it belongs so I can get my Jeep back in the garage!

I'm banning my wife from Facebook Marketplace.

It took 3 of us and a hydraulic lift cart to get it in, and 4 of us to get it back out. And of course, she needed for it to go up a step. The pot weighs at least 500lbs and the tree alone was another 200-300lbs. The tree did get strapped down through the cab. Fortunately it was dark and it was Portland, so it probably wasn't even the weirdest thing people drove around in their vehicles that day.

These two beasts were the day before from the same location.

Guessing about 300-350lbs each. Fortunately where they went I could back up and it was basically level with the tailgate, so I was able to use a appliance hand truck to get them out and put them in place.

I'm usually the test subject for mods in my friend group. So I upgrade based on experiences, buy new tools both pre and post job. I normally end up installing the same parts on their vehicles, so I try to make things much easier, lol

Today I found out that only 4 Maxxis Razr 37" tires will fit with the tailgate up. Despite my best efforts, the 12.5's are just a hair to wide, had to lower the tailgate for the 5th.

That Igloo was specifically purchased because it fits under my Bakflip tonneau cover, lmao! I may get another actually.

I messed up, and didnt take a pic of my cub cadet 42" deck riding mower in the back of the gladi. I will when I go get it back from my buddy, lol

Guess I’m going to haul my spare on a tire carrier for a little while or at least on trips. Don’t like blocking the whole rear view. Probably just lay it in the bed with a cable lock.
Either way the 13.50x 40 pretty much takes up all useable bed space.

That may be the perfect size tire for the JT. I think it fits the wheel wells nicely and takes away some of the awkward proportions that come with these trucks. Nicely done.
