Rolled my rig over the CAT scales last week and YIKES.

6740lbs with driver. Curious what others come up with.

Is that with roof top tent and everything, people are surprised when they weigh their trucks, I was!
Most overlanding rigs are over weight if not they are trying everything like rear seat delete and lightweight mods , but still it is really hard to stay at weight. My Mojave which is sort of stock with lighter tires then factory , but armored everything underneath , fridge in bed, RSI cap, dual batteries , steel front bumper with a light weight short spool winch that weighs about 48 pounds , still a shock !…..Jack
I weighed Rattle Wagon in my Daily driver mode. No RTT, Overlanding gear, 1 Ole Fat Guy on the scale. 6740 seems like a lot. Take away 300lbs of driver ballast and it is still heavy.

So what did yours ring the scales at?

There is a surprising amount of random metal you can cut off your Jeep if you try :P I likely removed north of 50 lbs of random brackets and reinforcement points that were bypassed with aftermarket mods. Cutting the bed helps too! Mine is hovering around 6k. Which makes sense if you think about it compared to yours.

On my spreadsheet the biggest mover is the tires (165 lbs heavier than stock). I think we're running the same tires. My wheels saved me weight over stock, but the compressors (21 lbs each added it back :P)

Stock apart for trailer hitch.

That's already about 200 more as stated in the papers.

I am not going to bob the bed. I use this as a truck when not on the trails. Will try to get it on the lift this weekend and see what can come off. THE DEF tank is coming off for sure and the bracketry that holds that junk in.

Still need to weld in front and rear shock mounts for the new Coil overs.... that has to be steel.

I am thinking the stated papers might be a little optimistic on these things.

You aren’t going to bob the bed… yet. Don’t say never Rob.

Right now it is a daily driver... so going full tilt is not in the cards. I did learn some lessons from the Red Jeep turned trophy truck that I am NOT going to repeat. I am looking at a set of Currie Axles maybe by years end and some Toyo 42s.... but these are on a wish list rather than a must have list.

I really thought I was done with the Accuair install...... that system performed so badly it had to come off. The logical progression was to long arm and run coil overs. Just surprised at how heavy this rig is. I can now see why it wallowed so much on the trail last summer. Next trip[ I am bring the off road trailer and pulling the weight rather than carrying.

The Kids Bronco Build might be a fun adventure and a possible alternative to a bobbed Gladiator..... HA!

Your daily driver with 42s... I still feel like my previous point is valid :)

I'm about to completely clean out my truck, and bring it to the scale in stock form (except with winch and 35's), and then weigh again after adding my cap, RTT, drawers, etc. I suspect I'll be real close to GVWR, likely over.

Next Venture full belly skid with UHMW on bottom , they are one of the few skids to take off all the factory skids including the gas tank skid, so not a huge weight gain there actually, but still more!
I weighed every single part going on and coming off when I installed NVM alu skids + UHMW, and it was net +49 lbs.

For reference, our stock 2024 3.6 Sport S, hardtop, automatic, with a couple nice safety and convenience packages, on a Cat Scale came to 4,988, with driver and passenger 1/2 tank. That has a payload rating of 1,044 lbs. that maths out to the GVWR and a driver, plus curb weight.
