I'm newer to this forum and it's layout, plus I'm on my phone (android) in mobile format all most all the time so I don't see anything else. But thanks, I'll try to figure that out.

Teraflex 1.5" level lift

Also Rockhard 4x4 skids. Not a great install. I'll load all that up in my build thread later today. Not happy with Rockhard's instructions or hardware.

I received an email from Cydnee with Warn advising a spec sheet is being put together. Will keep you posted.
Was able to talk with a Warn Representative today. Was advised the solenoid provided with the Warn interrupt kit is in fact rated at 175 amps. I did not get a spec sheet for the solenoid. He offered some information regarding the use of our winches; most off road winch applications are not designed for continuous operation. Also, the 175 amp solenoid provided with the interrupt kit is adequate for my 10,000 lb. winch and most other off road applications. The representative went into much detail about motor amperage draw during start up and after initial start. He emphasized, as stated above, most winches are not intended to be operated continuously on heavy pulls. He advised it is important to monitor heat build up at cables and winch motor during winch operation. If anything gets to hot to touch stop and let things cool down. With the information that I was provided I am comfortable with the Warn Interrupt Kit and its use while operating my winch.

Have you had a chance to use it? How does it preform mounted in such a way?
@mdyucca ok, so I experimented with the gmrs antenna in the laid down position. It was good for 1/2 a mile. I would think the range would extend if it were standing up. I will secure a small flat metal disk to the top of the black freedom panel to stick the antenna on if needed when we're off road. 1/2 mile is good for my needs though since we're usually with a group that's not that spread out. Another thing to consider is the Baofeng handheld is only 5 watts so it could be limiting transmission distance as well.

You really do have it laid down on the crossbar! A half mile is good. That distance would good for me in most situations. I saw a YouTube video where wayolife has an antenna mount that attaches at the front of the bed. Looks like it may be a good option.

Thanks.
The signature actually shows up here, unlike on some other forums.

The front of the bed is where I used to put it before this option. I just figured mounted up high would reach a little further.

Well, I finally got around to mounting and installing my winch interrupt solenoid and a terminal strip for the under hood aux switches. Nothing fancy, just functional.

I still need to a little more cable management...my air compressor wires are too long and need to be re-routed, but otherwise, it's 5 o'clock somewhere and it's time for a Papago Brewing Orange Blossom!!

Well I did the Goose Gear High Platform today.
I have mixed feelings about it. It fits well, it looks professional, it does what I need it to do. For the cost of the platform, I had to spend an hour cutting and fitting the rails, I had to grind the attaching bracket for the 60/40 connection, the need to lift it out to adjust the L brackets for mounting is frankly dumb, given that nutserts are everywhere else on that platform. All in all, I’m happy, but displeased with overall lack of what seems only simple to make the platform easier to install.

Well that's unfortunate. I have the low platform and I have to say, it was easy peasy on the install. I didn't have to do any tweaking; I wonder if it was a bad build you got or if that is the way for all of the high platforms.? Hmmmm...

NOW, do yourself a favor and make one more modification. I used mine off grid for several weeks and found one thing left to be desired:
I always seemed to need to access something that was under the platform when I had a bunch of things sitting on top of the platform. I hated having to unpack the platform, so I turned the side panel into an access panel:

I tried it with velcro first but wasn't happy with it (frankly, I didn't do a very good job of it) but then I decided to lock one of the T-nuts in the rail and just use a knob. Sooooo happy!!!
