LOL - speak for yourself there!Property taxes on homes aren’t bad, but they absolutely gangster your wallet for property tax on anything with a engine that touches the public roadway.

Rural Central Virginia
21 Mojave - Sticker price was $62,225
Personal Property Tax - $675.28 (6 mos)
Typically, my area is pretty low on taxes, so I'm curious as to how this compares to others.
Dang that's dirt cheap! We're at about $400+/year registration (license) fee. Here in NJ we don't have the personal property tax (we have more than enough other taxes, thank you!), but there's the sales tax of 6.625%. Title and registration fees for 4 years (with the extra fee for Pinelands plates) was $377.
Is that for both your vehicles or just one? I dont pay anything fortunately.Dang that's dirt cheap! We're at about $400+/year registration (license) fee.
Some states have a personal property tax. It is like the property taxes on your home, but applied to other tangible items like your vehicle. It is separate from purchase taxes and registration fees.I am confused. Are we talking about tax on your house/property? Or annual registration fees? Or just one time tax for purchase of a new vehicle?

Yeah, the question won't fit all states or locations.I am confused. Are we talking about tax on your house/property? Or annual registration fees? Or just one time tax for purchase of a new vehicle?
