I finally got around to installing the Metalcloak Backpack (by Adventure Rack Systems) on my Mojave. I wish I was having better success with the overcab rack.

Installed the Fumoto, after some tweaks to the washer. The fiber washer that came with mine was not instilling confidence, so I modded a Toyota washer to work. Aluminum encased in fiber. Just needed a bigger hole.

Installed my new plates.

D-Rings on the new bumper, and tent all mounted up while I wait for a Smittybilt Scout Trailer to mount it to. Backordered for about 2 months. First camping trip in a couple of weeks to Assateague Island.

This week, but not today. Removed the gladiator lettering below the Jeep logos. They were crooked from the factory, and I needed more room for badges. Added 4 more badges from April and May trails. Installed new grab handles from @darksidedesign, and they’re perfect. Also did boring stuff like oil and filter changes, tire rotation, etc.

Today I went from 35’s to 37’s. Totally changed the look and drive of the truck. ??

Swapped out the plastic Mojave bumper and skid plate for the Rubicon Steel bumper and skid plate.

Cleaning out the wood pile in the garage, found this scrap piece of 2x8. It's solid, little warped, and stained. (Like me??) Cut it down to 57.75, notched the corners and fits like a glove. 'Custom' graphics with my Jeep's name and Boom! Goes the dynamite?. Lol. I'm going to paint a bed liner in there soon so cut it long, I can shave some off after. Maybe carve my 'Dragen Wagen' into the board and then put bed liner on that too. It'll do for this and that. Not bad for 30 minutes of work. Back to the wood pile, after lunch.

Question... does anyone make a beefier tailgate top trim piece? Bought my Jeep used and it had a couple of rough scuffs and I added more hauling this and that. Thanks

Random question - on your oracle headlights, do you have any melting of the plastic surround right underneath the projector lens? I have the satin silver version and the sunlight is being magnified underneath the lens and melting the plastic. Oracle sent me out a replacement and the same thing happened 3 days after install

Not that I have noticed. But I will take a look later. They've been on mine for a couple of years now with no problems.
