As usual, not today, but more little things over last couple months...

VIOFO A119 Mini 2 dashcam and hardwire kit, Black Friday deal. Friendly of Jeep to make the ignition accessory wire Orange with a pink stripe, right next to the Aux 3 wire which is Pink with an Orange stripe. Luckily, I picked the right one as verified by multimeter before trying. I used Wago lever-nuts to make it less permanent for future options.

Another BF deal, Bulletpoint passenger side phone and action cam mount, and a grab bar mount for HT radio. The radio fits perfectly, but the arms are pretty sharp so shave the radio's plastic some. Shrink wrap might help. Could come handy if rough offroad leads to it jumping out too; we'll see if it's needed.

Got a speaker mic so I don't have to keep reaching for the HT, but the cord is pretty short. I'll see if I can hang it by my head without getting slapped by it, or full stretching it.

Finally added skateboard tape to the Rockhard4x4 sliders. Before the snow arrives, passenger side only.

My '21 JT Mojave has just under 35K miles, so I took it in for a FREE multi-point inspection (dealer offered a coupon online). I wanted to get a thorough checkup done prior to expiration of my 3/36 warranty. My only complaint (more curiosity than complaint) was a squeaking/clunking noise that can only be heard on uneven surfaces (suspension articulation) and very slow speeds (just creeping along). These newer vehicles don't have grease fittings for lubrication, but it sounds like a few components/parts within the suspension need lubing. That's the best way I know to describe the sounds I'm hearing.

The Jeep dealer technician yanked off the front right wheel in order to check the torque on some component(s) up front, based on a prior history (other customers' Gladiators) of those components needing tightening/retorque. Afterwards, the tech jumped in 'shotgun' and we rode down the road. Sure enough, there was still some suspension noise. This time, it appeared to be only be coming from the rear. Tech got out and pressed down (bounced up & down) on the rear bumper on each side, and surmised the noise to be coming from the left rear shock area. We drove back to the shop and he (along with the svc mngr) worked it together. They found some attachment points to add a dry lubricant to, and gave it back to me. Said, "drive it for a few days, and call us back after Xmas if you experience the same issue."

I didn't hear anything when I exited their parking lot, but by the time I got back home (20 minute drive) to my gravel driveway, the same noises were once again emitting from the suspension. Yes, I should've listened more closely to the tech, and noted exactly which components they fiddled with. However, they kept my ticket 'open' and assured me that whatever issue was going on (causing the noises) would still be covered under the warranty. One possible option/fix they offered was replacing the rear Fox shocks. Hopefully, they're not planning to just throw parts at the issue, but if the warranty covers it, I'll take the new parts.

Anyone experience similar noises from your suspension, and if so, please describe what the issue(s) & fix was. Thanks!

Check the rear sway bar bushings where it mounts to the axle. I removed the sway bar, cleaned off the bushings and used a little energy suspension lube. You can disconnect the end links and move the sway bar up and down to verify that’s where the noise is coming from. I thought it was my shocks as well until I checked the sway bar.

I did the same to the drivers bed fender on Dickey Bell a couple of weeks ago. I caught the only dead pine branch on the trail. Unfortunately my wife is smart enough to ask the right questions and found out about it when I was on the way home.

When I got home, she had the polishing and buffing compounds out with the buffer, stood in the garage and just pointed to the scratches.

Spent about 90 minutes on it. Fortunately for me, with the exception of 2 very small spots, they all came out and the 2 spots are only noticeable it you know where to look.

Life is good in my house again.

Glad it worked out for you!

I haven't done anything to it yet, but it won't get completely buffed out as it's likely too deep. There's probably improvement to be had though.

Maybe if I get some Mopar paint and use a single eyelash as a paintbrush, I can fill it back in ?

@GladLad Looks like a very clean install! You wanna come do mine?? :D Also, Just signed up for Snowfest (aka mudfest) hope you to see you there sir!
Haha, sure, now that I've got practice. In the least I'll give you some lever-nuts to make the connection easier. Cable management in the footwell was the tough part. I followed this video...

For sure! I kinda hope it will actually be a snowfest, but that will take a lot of snow with all those wheels.
