Same.still nothing at 9:20am ET
I noticed in the contest rules that it said beginning 9:00AM ET on 4/3/19, so I didn't loose any sleep last night, but here it is almost 10AM and nothing . . .at 12:02 am I bagged it...glad I did. Still tired this am...if I would have stayed up later it would be worse. Have not been like this since I was a kid on Christmas Eve... LOL
This is a marketing ploy.....trying to build anticipation. It’s working, too. Lol.I noticed in the contest rules that it is said beginning 9:00AM ET on 4/3/19, so I didn't loose any sleep last night, but here it is almost 10AM and nothing . . .
Of corse, it will be a fiasco....it’s a corporate thing. This is getting a bit annoying. My dealer just said they were told the 4th not the 3rd. My email specifically said the 3rd. I hope this doesn't end up becoming a big fiasco.
Becomes? Already has. Initial pricing announcements were chaotic. Dealers don't get any info on LE until the day before, conflicting info on what's in the LE build and when it would be delivered, dealers still don't know their costs, pre-launch isn't live, contest site down too...This is getting a bit annoying. I am sure your dealer just watched the April sales video. This is getting a bit annoying. My dealer just said they were told the 4th not the 3rd. My email specifically said the 3rd. I hope this doesn't end up becoming a big fiasco.
The dealership I went to yesterday sucks. I walked around, the only customer, btw. And not one person came out to talk to me. I know I’m ugly, and probably stink, but, I figure someone would want my money....nope. They must be wealthy enough. Anyway, once I was ready to walk out, someone finally approached me, and then passed me off to a kid, who probably stated last week. Knew nothing about the gladiator, much less launch edition. Pretty ridiculous.I am sure your dealer just watched the April sales video.
My buddy let me watch the video it did mention April 4 and not anything about the special early April 3 date.
They only had a quick 30 second blurp bout the Gladiator launch edition. Basically Chrysler is just creating hype and sales leads for dealers.
You go on the web site and pick you color then lead is sent to the dealer you chose.
**No Allocations for "original Gladiators" (ie: Sport, Sport S, Overland, Rubicon) for April. It has been moved to May**
With the Launch Edition Gladiator going live on 4/4, I wanted to start this thread with all information I have obtained as well as our stance on this very special edition Jeep.
-Sold Order Pre-Order process begins at 12:01AM on April 4th
Step 1) Customer goes to designated order page on Jeep.com (https://www.jeepgladiatorlaunchedition.com)
Step 2) Select Gladiator Launch Edition Color; Input Contact Information; Select Dealer (We are Tri-City Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Eden, NC)
Step 3) Customer is contacted by concierge service to verify order details, then a warm hand-off is attempted between the concierge and dealer
Step 4) Once customer info is confirmed, information from step 2 is sent to dealer
Step 5) Dealer inputs Gladiator Launch Edition sold order
Step 6) A signed buyers order and deposit ($500 non-refundable) must be obtained within 7 days or dealer is required to cancel Launch Edition order
-Production of Launch Editions will conclude at the end of August
-Customers who select Granite Crystal exterior paint will be late availability
-In order to "reserve" a Launch Edition, customer must first register through the dedicated pre-order website
-MSRP is $62,310. Invoice pricing will likely be released tomorrow once our Vehicle Order Management System opens at 7:01 AM
-We will be honoring Invoice Price on the Launch Edition Gladiator. Any of our customers who have an FCA Affiliate Control Number will qualify for 1% Below Invoice Pricing
Any additional information that is provided to me in regards to the Launch Edition will be applied to this thread.
We hope to help as many of you through this forum as possible!
