We went on a local drive/light wheel today.
Los Pinos Mt.
There were some tight spots, some steep climbs and some sweet views.
Im pretty sure I now have some new fancy pinstripes...I’ll have to wash ‘er up a bit to see how extensive and unique it is.
We the finished up at Alpine Beer Co. with their tasty libations

Yes, if it starts rusting, I’ll have it powder coated by a local company that does excellent work. I did this with my last one and it lasted for three vehicles. I just forgot to get it off my Tundra when I sold it. This one looks to be good coating already though.

My son bought an ‘04 Tundra (used in very good condition) couple years ago. The hitch was rusted solid and no amount of heat or hammering has been able to get it out!

i rusted my jetta hitch solid, my dad's 96 safari was doomed. mechanic heated it red hot with an acetelyne torch and chained it to a tree, didn't budge.

NOW, i take my hitch out after every use. no bloody chins, and non rust/welded (that's what i like to call it) hitches.

Couldn't wait for spring to hit the trails, took advantage of the 29F day before the next front moves in. Took as many back roads as possible to get into the Dearborn/Wolf Creek area, found some logging roads, then back down the hills to head home along the Missouri River.
