Installed the Quadratec Dead Pedal today. Not sure how I feel about it. I expected it to be more solid, so we will see how it holds up. Not sure I like the fit around the WeatherTech mat either.

Also used Jscan to flip my ESS setting back to Activated so Remote Start would work again. Much easier getting the plugs out and into the security bypass cable this time. It helped having done it, knowing where the plugs are, and how they disconnect.

I went with a bit of a different set up. How do you like that?

After I built my own overhead long gun rack I started looking for a sidearm holster. I needed something fairly universal and inexpensive as I have several different size platforms that I may carry and had already spent a small fortune on other holsters. I was at the Tanner gun show at the Norris Penrose center on Friday and this guy was selling these. I normally pass up such things but he convinced me. Install was simple enough. I removed the panel and dremeled a slot in it for minimal modification. A little super strength 3M double sided tape on the inside and I was done. It'll fit a full-size Glock or 1911 or the single stack sub-compact I show in the picture.

Installed my Weathertech mud flaps. Pretty impressed with how good they went on. If only I could train my dog to get me beers.

Today, I installed the Mopar trail management rail system in the bed. Friday I had it Line x’d.

like many, I also was shorted 2 screws, but was easier for me to buy them and finish the install.

Line x did plug the holes, but some of the lining oozed in the opening somewhat. I used a .270 bore brush and cleaned the threads out. Then easy Peasy attached the rails to the bed.

Added a Traveler 13.5 inch two row LED light bar and a Trigger 4 wireless control unit. 1.5 hours to complete. Loved not having to run wiring through the fire wall and can completely control from the phone app.

After a rough start (mostly my fault), I got the TruckCovers USA bed cover with Yakima HD bars installed. Other than a bolt I sheared, the install was smooth. Fitment is effectively perfect. Opening/closing/locking is effortless.
