Ok after several hours of tweaking things the best you can, ensuring everything is 100% dialed in, I have it complete. It's up for an alignment this afternoon!

All parts are installed!

Mopar 2" lift
Clayton Sway Bar Adjustable
AEV steering Stabilizer

Few notes.

1. Front Bump stop extensions are a PITA to install
2. LCA's and Rear Arms are a Pain to get loose unless you have a good quality impact
3. You are nuts to do this lift without an adjustable track arm in the font, it was nearly .8" off center.

Driving after.
1. Alignment needs to be done, not sure why... toe should have stayed but it pulls to the right now.
2. Steering wheel is way off.... to be expected (easy fix).

Took the same bumps I used to take, NO MORE BOTTOMING OUT.

Those front rubi shocks, are so soft stock, compressing them by hand is not a problem.... wow...

Nice,
Are these 35's in the pic? I'm considering this route but was afraid a 2" lift would make 35's look tiny, but this looks great!

35's for sure!

As an update. All components are in.

I have a pull to the right, it's not intense, but it's always there. It feels like it's a bit more than typical road crown pulling that solid axles have.

I have attempted the following.

1. AEV steering stabilizer priming (but this stab seems to be gas charged and always push outward.... it might be as simple as that....)

2. centered front axle within 1/8" with track bar.

3. Adjusted drag link.

4. Left toe alone (I had it aligned post 1.5" teraflex, it's perfectly aligned) from a toe perspective.

5. loosened and retightened the LCA bolts once it was on the ground. (This was done before, but did it again anyways.)

@JeepCares, add me to the list of JT Rubicon diesel models bottoming out on bumps. There has to be a solution for this.

Is anyone else experiencing their JT bottoming out on roads that other cars (trucks, JL Rubicon, anything else really) don’t have problems with?

It happens even with undulations in the road, not just pot holes and railroad tracks.

I have a JTDR, stock suspension.
We have a Gladiator and i consider it dangerous at moderate speed on any bumpy surfaces. Its straight bottoms out. Bone jarring would be best description. Jeep seem to be in denial. I could see it jumping off the road if a pot hole or wash out was hit on a corner.

My High Altitude factory ride was exactly the same, bone jarring.. I have spent $2500-$3K to get it to ride semi-well

My '21 Rubi diesel bottoms out as well just like everyone else. Slow speed over pot holes, small speed bumps etc. My old Wrangler over the exact same roads didn't, Ram 2500 Cummins doesn't, in fact my wife's XKR Jag doesn't. Ridiculous. Less than 2000 road miles. Sent off a private message to Jeep cares.

I did a 2.5" lift for a customer with a JL diesel. On the drive home it rode fine, but SMASHED down on the bumpstops when I went through a rain gutter. Terrible feeling. I ended up tearing it back apart, removing the kit's bumpstop extensions, installing the factory rubicon/Willys rear shocks in the front, and it drove well from there.

@F1REICE Any updates on your new Struts?

@ Anybody else... Updates from FCA?
Update....... 9/3/2021......

Contacted again today from the dealership. They confirmed the correct shocks were in. I have an appointment scheduled for Monday 9/6/21 to have those installed. After the last episode of demonstrating the bottoming out again and waiting another hour just to be told wrong parts. I will give you an update one way or another Monday evening.

Update 9/6/2021....

Had the dealership put on two new front shocks today ( finally came in) . Took the JTRD out after with the tech.... Guess what..still hitting. The tech then painted the front lower bumpstops and sure enough there was paint on the upper bumpstop. I have to wait because of the holiday to hear what the next steps are. I don't know if it is just me but over time this bottoming out is sounding worse and I am sure it is not good on all the front components. Sorry I don't have wonderful news that fixes everyone's problems.

I don’t think you can compare a diesel JL.

Besides, with a 2.5” lift, if dine right. Should have zero problems.

My diesel with mopar 2” lift has zero problems and is the solution the factory should give us.
