Just stripped the nut clip trying to readjust the fitment based on the oracle guidance.
No way, no how. The form just isn't there. A heat gun might help to form it. Currently not worth the effort for me.

The nut clips seem a lot softer than the factory ones.

And the tab that holds the nut clips are also softer than factory to the ppint where they appear to be slightly deformed.

I put a wad of steel stick behind there to reinforce the stripped nut clip.

Calling it a day and moving forward.

Yep, I spent quite a while trying to get the fitment better on the drivers side too. I think my top nut clip is almost or is stripped but still holds tight. I filed a relief for the problem screw after noticing there are a couple of existing relief's in the sheet metal from the factory.

After a long time of futzing around I think it got a slightly better fitment at the top of the light but there is still a gap at the bottom that I just can't get out. I tried bending the tabs that the posts slide into to try to force the light to get sucked in more and it didn't really make a difference.

It would take a lot to convince me there isn't just a mold problem on the drivers side light. The passenger side fits perfect, and did so immediately with no messing around. The drivers side seems impossible to get the same fitment on.

I tried re-adjusting mine with the same results, it just doesn't fit the contour of the bed on the driver side. I'm not sure if it's a quality control issue or the fact that appear to have only tested these lights on a single truck before shipping them.

How are your bumper lights wired? Direct wired or did you use plug and play harness?
I used the PnP harness for the bumper lights. It was a tight fit, but did not need the extension cable.

As for the tail lights, I do have the message saying no turn signals found on startup. But they still work. The fast blinking sound while sitting in the cabin is annoying, but not the end of the world.

Sounds like a bad mold as everyone that is having a fitment issue complains about the same side not fitting properly.

I will add I did the install and I am having the bulb out warning and hyperflash for blinker indicator. Factory LED 2021 Gladiator, I also have a tazer and have tried setting to halogen and back to LED but this had no effect.
This setting should definitely resolve the issue if done correctly according to the manual. Try restoring to factory, unmarrying, and starting over.

Hi, I am Hans Tadema from the Netherlands. I received my Oracle Flush Mount Tail Lights yesterday and installed them immediately. My Gladiator is a 2020 Rubicon with full LED. Installation was a piece of cake. However: when I start the engine (and also sometimes during the ride), I get the warning that my turn signal is not working. The blinker on the dash is flashing rapidly. It still looks like the actual turn signal is operating properly … But for somebody who’s a little bit autistic, dashboard warning lights and error codes are horror …

Hi Hans,

Currently, the solution for LED Jeeps is to use either a Tazer or JSCAN to tell the computer to not check for the factory tails. This is gong to be the only solution for LED Jeeps currently, as the ORACLE LED Tails pull more current than the Jeep LED Tails - As they are much brighter.

I recently installed the lights, and noticed that when the vehicle is switched out of Reverse, the left reverse light stays on a second longer than the right. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
This hasn't been reported yet. PM me a short video along with more info on your Jeep (Trim, options, aftermarket parts installed, ETC.) Also let me know how you have the reverse lights wired in

Installed today, non led, no warning lights or dash problems. However reverse lights turn off and on. And idea how to address this?

I made a post a couple pages back about working with another halogen tail member on testing a solution. Keep an eye here for my post on the outcome as soon as I get confirmation.

My 2021 Mohave with halogen headlights and factory LED taillights, also has the rapid indicator flash for turn signals, have had three messages about burned out tail light in 270 miles once each time I drove and not right away, reverse lights are working but I have not sat and had them on long. I really, really like the lights and can deal with rapid turn signal indicator, and even the tail light out message once in awhile is ok, as long as reverse lights keep working , I guess I am good. I am not wanting to buy a J-scan although there was a report of that not fixing the problem either. We’ll see…..Jack
Tazer and JSCAN both work if settings are configured properly according to their respective manuals.

Hmmm...

I have a Tazer and I'm already running LEDs under the correct settings to the rear, but I may wait for version 2 just for the fitment issues.

See my post below from a couple pages back

You just need to resettle the tail here. Loosen the top bolt, press the tail into place where you need, then tighten the bolt while held in place. Repeat on the bottom.

Here's some pics of the LH on ours showing a clear difference when this is done:

See my post below from a couple pages back
Replying to the fitment part here. A number of people are reporting less than ideal fitment. While fitment is not horrible, it's poor enough that this many people notice it. There is certainly something to be said about variance in the vehicle itself as it seems like @j.o.y.ride has the best fitment of anyone's I've seen posted (https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/flush-mount-tail-lights.30902/post-813821).

However, I would say this is something that should be looked into on Oracle's side. Maybe grab a set off the shelf and try on a few different JT's versus the prototype set on the shop JT.

I'm pasting below people that have reported some sort of fitment issue. I am not trying to speak for them in regards to how they truly feel about the issue. I am simply noting the people that posted about fitment. At least three of us (@Rockabillyroy, @just_another_guy, and myself) have spent some real time going back and trying to get better results with limited success. Certainly nothing like the fitment on Oracle's shop JT. I consider this a pretty minor issue since the fitment is not bad, I think it just triggers some OCD since the passenger side is perfect.

Not thrilled with the fitment, but it’s not terrible. The real issue is on the tailgate side. There is a screw that is sticking too far out, causing it to hit the metal of the taillight hole, causing a gap. You can see where the paint is chipped and on the screw.
my lights also not sit totally flush despite pushing in while tightening the bolts
Generation 2 would be well served with a rubber gasket and some slight refinement in the shape where it meets the body of the vehicle.....Again they do look good as is. This is just honest/constructive criticism.
I found if i got the top of lined up and tightened down first, then the bottom, I got the best fitment I could.

Fitment is meh, the bed side does not follow the contour of the truck, the trunk side fits fine.
The trunk side of the unit could have been molded to more of a smooth finish, looks undone.
The fit is acceptable but could be better.
Just stripped the nut clip trying to readjust the fitment based on the oracle guidance.

Same story on mine. Driver side fitment is definitely worse than the passenger side.

So much ugh. I cancelled my pre-order on these. I’d rather have hideous halogens than have to be part of the 1-2% of beta testers after forking over $400 and waiting two months. Hopefully I don’t get a snarky comment my way for not being patient. ?

The photos I posted earlier are from an off the shelf set that we are taking to SEMA. I have two of these sets which yielded the exact same fitment on our 21 Rubi.

I already have plans to fit these up to any other JT's that may come by just to check, but understand we have to rely on other customers and or favors from the local dealership who are obviously limited on inventory like everywhere else due to the semiconductor shortages.
