I’m still 30k miles away from needing new tires, but I’d like to go from 33s to 35s on my Max Tow. I’m kind of liking the Kenda Klever pizza cutters but that’s a whole other conversation.

My question is do you think it’s better to get a lift or just get higher fenders. The way I see it, a lift keeps everything else the same, but raises the whole truck. The fenders Jeep it lower, but change the look. The fenders could be cheaper, but the lift makes for a potentially more capable vehicle.

I don’t feel like there’s a single obvious answer so I’m curious to hear y’all’s thoughts.

I don’t plan to disconnect often but I’d like to be able to without chewing stuff up.

I run 35s and a Rubicon swap. Also use the Terraflex 1.5. I air down and disconnect every time I wheel.
I get rubbing under my fenders. Thought about going to Rubicon fenders. They are on back order. Opted for the 2.5 Clayton. You can see where my tires rub under the front fenders.

I ran 35” with no lift and stock fender flares on my Rubicon. No problems. It’s looks much more balanced with the 2.5” light I put on

If you want to raise the entire Jeep for clearance lift. Otherwise go fenders and leave the Jeep low and only raise fenders. All in your ultimate use. Trail worthy or looks.

I'm looking to keep a lower CoG, so I plan on maybe doing Mojave suspension and high clearance flare take offs. I personally won't see rocks, so have no plans for a lift.

I have a 2021 Willys and went the lift route. I got 35s and drove a couple weeks that way without a lift which looked better than stock. I installed a 3.5 inch lift and love the way it looks!

The cheapest route would be the teraflex spacer lift in the front and 35s.

I’ve already got that with 33s. I just feel like it’ll be a bit crowded with 35s.

I have the same combo.

Max Tow with front Rubicon LE springs, plus a 1" Teraflex spacer on 35s. That gave me 2.25" of lift in the front with the stock plastic bumper. But then I added a steel bumper, winch and sliders.

I'm also going with the Clayton 2.5" lift.

It works fine for me. My off-roading is more reliant on traction versus articulation, so I haven't had rubbing issues.

I'm going with the Clayton 2.5" to give a little more ground clearance, but mainly for the articulation.

OP, I'd just order the OEM springs 340 and 343 part numbers, then the Mopar extended LCAs. Very inexpensive, very easy to install. Completely factory!

You want to be as low as possible with the largest tire as possible. with as much drop as possible. There's more ways than 2 to achieve that recipe.
