ArmorLite Flooring. Is it a worth wild mod?

I am considering the ArmorLite flooring system for my Gladiator. Any advice out there?

Can't give you first hand experience, as I just bought mine a few hours ago so between shipping and freetime I won't have it installed until next weekend.

But, I can tell you the reasons I decided to buy. They sent me a material sample and I slashed at it with a couple knives for a while and was very happy how it held up. Every first hand account loves it. Never seen a bad review. Plus i wasn't thrilled with the fit of the husky x-act contours. Ended up returning those. Only negative people ever bring up is "you're supposed to uninstall to dry if you water log your jeep". Well I don't ever want to waterlog my jeep ever, or even get close. And in pretty sure you'd want to uninstall carpet to dry if you waterlogged your jeep too.

If you have an interest in Armorlite flooring but are hesitant about the cost and install hassle, check out TuxMats.

They are made of a laminated material that is similar.

Also, their coverage is HUGE compared to any other matts I've seen.

For example the rear seat is a single piece that goes up over the driveshaft tunnel and well under the front seats. It goes so far back that you have to loosen the screws for the bin under the rear seat so you can slide the mat under the bin.

The fronts go all the way up the side of the transmission tunnel and under the center console.

I just installed mine over the weekend after having it in my garage for a few months. I was really not looking forward to the install and popping all the plastic off. Turns out it wasn't as bad as I anticipated. Just take your time and wear gloves. I did remove my front seat which I think made it easier to deal with.

Looks like a great product so far and looks great when all installed.

Why??

Because it looks amazing easy cleanup and you get rid of all the damn carpet you can't keep clean. Also adds some sound deadening and insulation to the floor.
Wished it was an factory option. Wanted carpet delete but no such option.

Removing the factory carpet is about 50x easier than installing the armorlite (which takes time and patience, but it's not that bad).
