I had 5-6/32 left on my first set after 50k+ miles and got an irreparable flat. They told me they were being discontinued so I bought four more. I have a long time before I need to worry about that again, but no idea what I’m getting next since the Revo 3s are gone
Sorry that happened man smh. You don't run 5 tires ? Prob going to start 5 tire rotation with the next set. Mybe run a rear tire mount style.

If they really want to add "value," try offering 4WD Auto in something like this... Right now, I believe all you can get it in is an X Package.

True. And on the JLU side, only with the recon package or v8

The LEDs are actually safer for incoming traffic as long as they’re properly aimed. I’ve literally never once had anyone high beam me. I’ve driven a lot of new stock base model/peasant equipped JLs and JTs and got high beamed often. The difference is the LEDs are vastly superior when it comes to the cutoff and light scatter.
Properly aimed is the ticket, especially in trucks. IMO, auto-leveling headlights should be a required standard option. It would solve most issues when it comes to improperly aimed headlights.

MOST people don't bother to adjust headlights after installing a lift.
MOST people don't bother to adjust their headlights after installing leveling kits.
MOST people don't adjust headlights when hooking up a trailer.

In sedans and SUVs if you have a full rear seat of people, or you've loaded up the boot, now your headlights are aimed higher because of rear suspension squat.

You guys must see a lot better than me. My 2020 Gladiator had the stock halogens and I would say an extra prayer when going up the mountain to Big Bear here in SoCal. Couldn't see sh#t.

My 2024 JT has the OEM LEDs and they are night and day better for my eyes.
My eyeglass prescription is -4.75 or so - I can't see a damn thing 🤣

The highest mountain here is an overpass though, so 🤷‍♂️

Ironically:

I had LED drop in bulbs for my Gladiator for the first three years. Just regular ole BeamTech's from Amazon. I re-adjusted my headlights when I put them in (downward - and that was after installing my leveling kit).

I was flashed maybe three times in three years.

Toward the end of the summer this year one of them went out and I needed a solution quick so I just grabbed the Sylvania Extra Visions from Oreilly's (regular halogen bulbs). They are not Silver Stars, they very much have an old school 'warmish' look to the light.

I get flashed SUBSTANTIALLY more with bulbs that are supposed to be in the headlights then with the LED's I had 🤣

Agree. I won't have another vehicle without LED's. I live in MT, mountains, and deer are everywhere. As you note, aim is key with having them but if aimed correctly, they work great.

Both my wife and I have hit deer as have most people I know over any given ten year period. Halogens just don't cut it. On my 2015 Ram 1500, I put after market LED's on my replacement hitch bumper that were manually actuated, but they worked. Even on my new 2025 Ram 2500 (tow beast), I aim them to the side so they can be left on projecting far up ahead along the tree lines. I have some straight forward ones I seldom use but for certain runs like up by Seely lake heading north to Kalispell, early morning dark they are awesome with everything on.

The Overland should have been called the Sahara from the start, people knew what the Sahara trim was, changing the name for one model caused confusion
Honestly the Overland name made more sense if you were coming from the Grand Cherokee world, but yeah Sahara would have been a better call.

Retired. Beach bum.
Back in the daze when everyone was upgrading to halogen, from reg tungsten traditional gas filled bulbs, the Europeans had non sealed beam 7-9” replacement assemblies, made by Cibie’ Z Beam, that allowed you to add the needed not built in halogen bulbs, with up to 150w, that needless to say never suffered ice buildup! I had one on my Harley, a pair in the Mack R Model I drove overnight, plus my Scout II TERRA and CJ. They were fantastic, with a Z type cutoff on low, but searing bright white light from sidewalk to sidewalk and 4 lanes out further than anyone could read on high! Needless to say inconsiderate drivers with poorly aimed fog//head or highs on figured that issue out quickly when I flashed my high beams back! On the roof of my TERRA, I had a remote spotlight that I put a 150w sealed beam KC Daylighter bulb in, that would light up fishing boats off shore! Or the entire beach. But when I turned it on everything else dulled before the alt caught up.

How is auto leveling going to work with a 4" lift for example 🤔
