I am running 37” BFG KO2s and they fit fully inflated in the spare tire location under the bed. It does have some room to spare so a larger 37” should also fit no issue.
Here is mine 2” Mopar on 37” KO2s. I have a buddy on 35s I’ll try and get a side by side picture of our trucks soon.

So to confirm: BFG KO2s 37” fit ok in the spare well?

Any handling comments?

I need really stiff side walls as the Summerset E2 off road trailer (high center of gravity and short wb... so inherently unstable).

High speed on 31” KO2s on a V8 Colorado are fine by the way.

How do the 37" BFGs handle on the highway? Does it get into 8th gear at all or are these like a typical 37 inch tire?

They handle great, had them on my old JKUR and they were awesome. Mines a manual and after I flashed the computer to the correct size it’s less of a dog but it will work decent in 6th gear and it will still do 140-150kph every day. But it loves 3rd/4th gear pulls on the hwy.

I drive pretty spirited as well.

The diesels were announced with taller gearing, which already changes things to fit the diesel. So a major change in tire size still might need a gearing change, depending on your usage and terrain.
based on
Thanks.

Yes.

That’s what I had heard with regular 37 inch tires. I was just wondering if the KO2s, being less than 37 inches, might fit with usable air.

I’m also wondering if the extra torque of the diesel will negate the use of gearing down as is commonly done with 37’s.

based on my experience in a JLD on 37s with stock gears I’d say theyre nowhere near as necessary as a V6 with 4.11s and stock gearing is

Not exactly what you asked for but on 37s with a 3 inch lift I am just under 6'6 to the top of the roof. The combination adds 5 total inches to the height over a stock JTR. If I am running flags on the back it's 8'3".

I'm running 37" Grabber X3, which by my measurements are really close to a full 37". It could almost/just barely fit it in my spare spot (had to really under-inflate it). I put on a Rock Krawler X-Factor No-Limits suspension, which eliminates the rear sway bar, and it fits just fine.

We love our 37" tires on our JT and it feels and looks 'right'. I can live with the stock gearing, but I don't tow much. The only thing I don't like is that it can hunt for the right gear sometimes.

I'll probably go up to 4.88 just for grins, but don't think anything higher is needed at all.
How much height did it add overall? 5.5”. How about the axles. Any problems so far?

Weird question, do you fly or work on the B-1? I only ask because I have a close friend who works on them in South Dakota.
