Add 850w heavy duty cooling fan to 3.6L Gladiator that didn't come with it. ( no Tow Package or Max Tow )

After install, I noticed it's a hell of a lot louder when maxxed. Obviously more CFM. That's what I wanted in the 110F desert. Not just the wattage, the blades of the 850 have nearly 2x the surface area.
Probably need the wattage to handle the larger blade design - to handle the air flow. a lesser motor may not handle it

Where would you purchase the bigger fans from ? Benny? Napa ?
They cost a big nut regardless new or used but if you want to save money for used, Ebay or a salvage pull would be my recommendation.

When this thread started almost 3 years, the have gone up considerable more even for used. Regardless, you want the MOPAR one and I would avoid any off brand parts store or Chinese Ebay special.

When I bought then the 940W fan for my 2022 Rubicon JT, you could still find decent used pulls for cheap because most had not caught on of porting them over from the 4XE Wrangler they are only cataloged with to the Gladiator JT.

So they originate for the 4XE?

The 940 watt one is a 4XE only application that fits off catalog to our JT's. 850 watt one is cataloged for our JT's.

Is the blade profile on the 940 even beefier?

Interesting. The 600 to 850 difference is major visually. Can't tell on the 940.
Maybe just the same as the 850W but runs at a higher RPM? 🤷‍♂️

yet I can feel a disturbance in the force and can hear your brain going vroooom, "but I should have a look, get my hands on one to compare, or even try it. Why shouldn't I?" 😇

Just out of curiosity. If my Jeeps electrical can support the 850w can it support the 940w?

What's the part number of the 940w fan? Quick Google search came up with naught. Is it compatible with 3.6L gas engine or is it just for the eco diesel?
