So you think this doesn’t work properly with non-LED lights?

Gladiatorpilot - Same issue I have, I took out the drivers side reverse light, and the oracle lights worked. I believe it has to do with amount of amps that it is pulling and the system is seeing it as an error. I look through the thread and it seems most people have Led taillights. I ordered a set of led lights to see if my theory works, if it does that should hold me till the oracle taillights ship.

Looks like page 33 with the halogens didn't use the PnP harness and wired them up to the AUX switch. Anybody else have halogen tail lights with the PnP harness and have any success?

Got mine in and working. Had to take the body side tail light connector off its mount, went as direct as humanly possible to the passenger side and it *just* connected but it's tight. When the extension comes I'm going to put it in so I can get the tail light plug back on its mount. Rather have excess slack then tension and the unmounted plug bouncing around behind the tail light.

I used the pnp harness once it was plugged in the entire left tail light didn’t work except for the small marker on the side and the reverse lights only came on with blinkers and they would flash dim and bright after I removed the harness and plug the tail light back in the reverse light still wouldn’t work anyone else have any similar issues?

The QC on the harness leaves something to be desired. As direct as possible and I’m short 6” to the passenger. However, the driver is at least 6” too long. Definitely need the extension. On the bright side, my taillights and the driver Oracle light works. Passenger Oracle is feeling left out of the backing up fun.

Hey there,

The P&P harness should just allow pass through as it's just a jumper harness. Can you tell me if you notice any wires coming from the sensor that go to an empty spot on the P&P harness? It shouldn't but just want to double check.

Feel free to PM me pictures so I can have a look.
Hi @JP_Oracle just PM'd you the pics of the factory connectors.

Finally got mine installed today. Once I got them in and the harness connected (clicked together no issues) and tested, the lights come on once in reverse and then left light and the 2 oracle lights flash on and off every few seconds. After a few flashes they stop coming on and only the right factory reverse light comes on. Anyone had similar issue?

Can someone with these post a photo in the dark from standing in the bed looking back? Compared to reverse lights if possible. Wondering how well these will work to illuminate the area backing down the boatramp at night

MAYBE to help diagnose and to help Oracle and other helpful FORUM members help out - when someone posts with an "issue" might help to post the "trim" (Rubicon, Overland, Sport) and whether or not they have LED tail lights, etc.

Let's put it this way - next morning there's going to be a lot of blind fish popping up, the glare on the water will be seen from the international space station.

Good call. Mine is a 2020 Sport S with halogen taillights. Do have LED bulbs for the reverse lights

I got mine (Sport S, halogen lights) working with the jumper harness. I did find out that the harness was not a direct 1:1, and had to move some pins. How it was caused my taillight to not work, but all other lights worked.
While I had the harness chopped up, I ran a hot lead from my VOSwitch to a relay and can now use them either in reverse or from a switch.

How’s your aux wired with the diode? I am going to try to look for one at a store nearby, Amazon doesn’t have it at the moment.
Diode has 2 inputs and one output. The hot from the PNP harness goes to one input and the hot from the AUX switch to the other input. The single output from the diode then connects back to the original 2 wires/connection which goes to the actual bumper lights. The negative was just connected directly to the PNP as it is grounded through the tail light circuit.

Pin 6 is the ground and Pin 5 is the "hot" feeding the bumper lights or in my case the diode.
