I got 315 70n17 BFGs on my Max tow and regret not going with 37's now that I'm still able to maintain 19 MPGs on 35's. That said if I had 3:73 gears I would not consider 37's unless I was going to regear. A guy I talked to at the gas station has 37's on his with 3:73 gears and his average on the dash was 14.6 MPGs and he said his speedo was dead on. I believe I could still get close to 18 MPGs on 37 12.5 17 BFG KO2s on mine and that's why I regret not going ahead and getting the 37's. If I did it and got below 16 I'd be disappointed. Here's mine on 315 70 17 with 2.5" Readylift sst lift kit and Rubicon take off front springs on a Max Tow

Funny enough one of my 35 pats failed the day after writing this and Iā€™m now on 37s. So to follow up, Iā€™m now on 37ā€ KO2s which are on the smaller side of 37s and itā€™s right on the line of what Iā€™d consider acceptable highway performance. 3.6L, 8 speed automatic, 3.73 gears with the Speedo recalibrated and itā€™s okay around town. Just okay. However it takes a lot for her to get going at high way speeds. Iā€™ll definitely want to regear before heading into the mountains later this year and Iā€™m expecting that towing a trailer this weekend is going to suck. (Iā€™ll add a picture so everyone can tell her sheā€™s pretty ā˜ŗ)

You'll be very sorry if you do 37s on 3.73
I thought the same and was to re gear shortly after installing but now that Iā€™ve been driving it I am not in a rush at all . That being said In my area the highways are nice and flat . Itā€™s barely noticeable from the rubicon takeoffs I had on it . I am happily surprised

Man, the amount of people offering feedback on the size of the wheels instead of the actual topic at hand is staggering.

I was talking to a guy about his gladiator and he was running a 3.5" rough country lift with 37" on 3.73 gearing. He had nothing but great things to say. But he did also mentioned he was going to regear to 4.88 in the upcoming weeks..

imo sticking with 35's and a 2.5" lift would look great!
Send send me a picture I want to add 35s and a 2 1/2" lift on my Gladiator Rubicon. It's still on order this is the 8th week so it's coming soon

how is it climbing in and out on 37s with those nerfs? worried that my wife and kid will still have a rough time getting in and out. lol
Itā€™s not too bad , my wife is tiny but she doesnā€™t complain . My son is 3 so he just jumps off everything anyways lol

I don't have a 2.5" lift on mine (yet). I was commenting I believe it would look good!

Right! I put on the terraflex leveling kit and am running 35s. It looks really good, but I definitely plan to lift in the future.

37's on 17 inch Mopar performance wheels and Mopar 2 inch lift with 3.73 gears and no issues to report and love the look.

Do you mind sharing if youā€™re doing any serious off-roading or towing with the setup you mentioned? Thanks

If you go with the 35ā€™s i would stick to the smaller lift. Iā€™ve got the Mopar on 37s ( 4.10s) and Iā€™m already wishing I had 38ā€™s cause I feel like I need more tire. With the bigger lift your tires will look very small, IMO
How does the Jeep run on 37s with 4.10? Does it seem noticeably sluggish like the 3.73 gearing? Do you get up hills relatively well? Any off-roading?

how much does it cost to regear a JT? parts and labor?
If your sticking with your existing differentials, $1500 ish, but thereā€™s no better time to upgrade to lockers if you donā€™t already have them so that adds another $2000.
