Aside from the discussion here and circular reasoning, all this is conjecture and assumptions. The OP has not been forthcoming with all the details, total weight, speed, road conditions etc.

Though this conversation has been interesting, this is the third post I’ve seen by the OP in two places, and continually leaves out important information. With that said, there really hadn’t been a benefit to anyone in how this happened, though we have thoroughly discussed what HSS may stand for given the context.

for the most part, I’m thankful for you guys who do provide good answers and enough information to actually learn something, the the OP, we are on page ten here without you providing any additional information, stop trolling and looking for pity parties, either something was amis or you jacked something up, just own it and move on.
I think he is fishing for theories to sell the dealership in order for them to foot the bill... couldn't come up with a good enough story/lie on his own.

To me if it was from the hitch getting hit/scrapped , the bend would be going in the opposite direction. Looking at the pics it appears he was towing something way to heavy, NOT something scraping and pushing up on the hitch. Its bending down towards the back, not up towards the center.... Thoughts ?
That's what I've been saying since way back. The scraping is a result, not a cause.
That means the back was shoved downward or hit downward.
IF the frame is truly "bent" or bowed, it would be down in the back.

A good explanation starts about here, and then a minute later explains the forces involved with a trailer. In this case, though, sounds like it was a spare tire carrier and tire on the receiver. Still, similar forces could be at work......

My question is this.
Can a bent frame like this be fixed?
Or is the vehicle totaled?

It can easily be fixed by just swapping the frame. Since these are body on frame and not unibody the frame is "easily" swappable in that it can be done for probably 8-10k depending on cost of this frame itself.

No underside photos or other details offered. For all we know, the hitch scraping was done one day at the typical rock crawling speed.... then the "frame bending" was done on some other day at a much faster speed. These two events could have occurred several months and thousands of miles apart for all we know.

My opinion on the matter, and i cant believe that you detectives haven't come up with this on your own, is that this is all some sort of trimwork malfeasance or a photoshop job, along with the likes of the Loch Ness Monster, Sasquach or Elvis at the Cracker Barrel....because Mojave frames don't bend.

So, unless y'all have pics of scantily-clad bimbos, dick or fart joke memes, album covers or kids book covers, I'm gonna sit out the rest of this one until OP gets his shit together and steps up.

But it's on the internet, so it must be true.

See this is why I’ll never buy a used jeep. If the frame is bent and he can not get the dealer to fix it he will pawn it off to another dealership as trade in seeing how thirsty dealers are right now for inventory, they will buy not knowing and end up selling it and the circle repeats its self again “hey this is bent!”

BTW OP if you can’t get the frame fixed you should capitalize on this and change your Instagram handle to FULLSEND_OVERLAND, Beat the shit out of the truck like whistling diesel does and buy a new one with the proceeds.
