Ok cool.....your truck dude.Why they aren’t hurting anything. There is no proof the shocks cause this. And I don’t buy that. The 1/8 tabs on the axle should easily deform before or with the frame if shocks are the real reason here.
That bend just happens to be the weakest point on the frame and right where the cab and bed are separated. Any excess weight behind the rear axle is pushing down at the springs like a lever. The motor does the same on the front. Frame will break at the weakest point from the counter leveraging. You can make a demonstration from a board and some weights. Add the additional dynamic forces from high speed bouncing and it’s all she wrote.
Maybe you will be the proof we need.
