yeah, me to, i wrote mileage on the plastic flange with a paint pen, so we'll see what in there next time.

Oddly there was no mention of revised service protocols or a print out of the revised protocols. Some have reported as part of this campaign they now require you to change your fuel filter at every oil change interval and restrict bio fuels.
Naturally, my service writer was at lunch when my vehicle came out. Almost like it was planned that way. Paperwork shows nothing about new fuel filter. Again, mine was not mopar branded, so I’ll know for sure next time. In the meantime I’m gonna keep cussing at this bolt I snapped in half trying to put my skid plates back on. The other half is still in the hole 🤬

Here’s the rundown of the modified owner’s manual they left on my seat.

Notice this specifically says NO aftermarket additives are necessary for the new pump.

My bought new in April 2024, 2023 ecoDiesel Gladiator - had the HPFP recall replaced. It was received by dealership in 12/2022, and could not be sold till the HPFP Recall repair was done;

It was only avail to buy when I did because the Recall was performed;

I also have 2015 Ram ecoDiesel - still waiting for Recall repair; has 48K miles, but still runs; Have not had a HPFP failure;

Called dealership 2 days ago - said I am about 2 wks out from being contacted to schedule the replacement;

Anyone know what's changed inside the pump yet? I got mine done finally (by the original dealer even, parts supply has clearly increased) and I REAAAALLLY don't want to put additive in my fuel anymore if I don't have to (and at least 2x that sentiment from my spouse). But until I know it's safe I'll continue.

Also didn't get the booklet, the sticker, or the part back when I picked it up right before closing time. I was able to see the old pump (and I pre-marked my old one) to ensure it wasn't pencil whipped, but they wouldn't give it to me. Going to have to raise a ruckus to at least get the booklet.

If you really want it that bad I’ll mail you the booklet. I’m just going to throw mine away anyways.

Call Redlands Jeep, they’ll get you in as soon as you’re ready.

Ask for Christofer Cervantes, tell him your buddy Justin just got his Gladiator fuel pump replaced and you need to get yours done too. Bonus points if you don’t have 2025 tags yet, you can tell them you need the recall done to get your registration.

Bit over an hour away, could be doable if I can find the time for it

If it’s a Tuesday or Wednesday I can accommodate for a few hours while you’re waiting, those are my days off and generally are the best days to bring your Jeep in to the dealer

just gave service a call now I just gotta wait for a phone call when they get parts.
Apparently they get 4 a week or so, better than the closest dealership to me which seems to be getting 0 a week

Finally got mine done after being on a "list" since November.
Decided to call the dealer to see what was up, and was told to bring it in this week.
No paper work left in the Jeep.

Does anyone know if the fuel filter change is part of the 2 ā€œfreeā€ scheduled maintenances that you get when you purchased new? Having first oil and filter changed next week and I’d like to know before I go into the service department.

thanks

Nope, fuel filter is not included in the free oil changes despite the fact it's now required every oil change.

Took my Gladiator in for its first service. The dealership didn’t charge me for the fuel filter replacement and said it was covered by Jeep Wave. I wasn’t going to argue.

EXACTLY!!!
Finally got mine done after being on a "list" since, i dunno, last summer. They lost that list i guess because i had to call and schedule it. Was done Monday.

No paperwork left in the jeep, no new stickers that I saw, nothin special. Took me a while to find the clean new pump behind the dirty cover and decide that they actually did probably replace it.
