Only have 28k miles so fingers are crossed..
I do not tow but I live at 5k' and mountains all over the place. I'm 7k lbs before loading up, on 38's and a Camper on it..with 3.73's. I've seen 225 water temps but oil was 245*+ thats whats got me worried. gearing may help as was stated and I'll do if needed but oil cooling is what I think in my case help a lot. Trans temps so far max 220* I'd rather see it at 200* same for oil and water but likely impossible.
I need to make sure my fan is on all the time at 90% of max using the Tazar. That helped my LS maintain temps.
I modded my warn 9.0RC to lower its controls lower for air flow.
I read all on hood vents seems no difference in temps driving.
I have vents in the fender liners plus its more cut out to clear the shock's so should be good there.
