Hi, we finally have hazard-cleared roads and restored electricity/internet. We were able to safely re-open today and are settling in to assist. We are just waiting to hear back from production and will communicate the next update as soon as possible. We will be sure to post here as well as via email so you won't miss the information.

-Rachel

Rachel - I understand the most recent issues with the hurricane and safety of employees, so please don't mis-interpret my comment as not believing that is very important for people/Oracle.

Having said that, being in a manufacturing environment (albeit with USA made products at our own facility), I understand leadtimes/projections...so there must've been an updated shipping date provided/available to Oracle prior to the hurricane hitting - especially since these were initially supposed to be shipping to Pre-Buy customers in early August. Can you provide us with an updated "guesstimate" as to when these will be shipping? Later this month, early October, etc.?

Has anyone at Oracle had the opportunity to put together a video showing the specifics of these lights yet (was brought up back in April)?

Again, the safety of employees is top priority, and I'm not trying to come off as if Oracle is using the hurricane as an excuse (I apologize if it reads that way)...just hoping to get some positive news regarding availability for an order placed almost 5 months ago - not planning to cancel at this point...thanks for any potential update!

Yes we are currently about 3 weeks out to have approximately 100 units ready to ship and another 100 shipping that following week. We should be able to keep that pace up moving forward. The plan is to ship in these in order so the first order placed would be the first to ship.

Specifics as in functionality? Here is a video we just put together for the JL prototype we are working on that runs through functions it is the same for the Gladiator.

Appreciate the update (on expected shipping), as well as the video, thank you very much!

You might want to update the page for these lights on your website since it doesn't sound like you're going to hit the September shipping date you have listed on there.

Everyone's a critic...

Never seen a vendor get so much flack and criticism by trying to engage with a potential audience.

Carry on!

People just want an accurate idea of when the product will ship. It may have sounded snarky but I had been checking the product page for the date, which doesn't appear to be accurate anymore. I didn't realize it would upset someone by asking them to update it.

Hey Guys!

First and foremost, thank you all for your patience and support around the new JT tail lights. We are definitely excited to release these lights and will continue to provide more updates as we receive them. With this in mind, we have an exciting development revolving around these lights.

If you have paid attention earlier in this thread, we were exploring options for a new JT tail gate panel that would compliment the JT Flush Mount Tail Lights. We are happy to report that we are in the very beginning stages of design development! However, we would like to hear your input for design direction.

We currently have two different versions in place. The Classic version (as seen earlier in the thread) and the newer Sport version.

For the Classic panel, the intention is to keep the light bars straight with the lift gate body lines. This creates a clean look without having to do anything too crazy on the development end. With this option, we would need to make space for the rear camera. However, the provided empty space could be utilized for future custom applications; such as graphics, wraps, logos, lettering, etc.

For the Sport panel, the intention is to keep the light bars flowing across the entire tail gate without interfering with the camera. Drawing inspiration from the Dodge Charger, this shape is more athletic and keeps all the lines connected. With this design, there would be limited space for additional customizations.

Before we start working on specifics and assembly details, we would like to hear your input! Is there a version that you prefer over the other? Other ideas? Thank you all in advance and looking forward to hearing your feedback.

From one of my previous posts, I actually thought this would look pretty awesome, but something about both just seem "off" to me. I think it's how militaristic the vehicle itself is just not meshing well with the more futuristic looking racetrack lights. I'm sure tons of folks on here will love both and they'll likely look pretty awesome with some of the more agressive custom JT builds, it's unfortunately probably not something I'll pick up though.

As always, I love the fact you guys look for feedback from us all on products, keep it up!
